The New England Patriots decide to release Troy Brown from the team. I realize they were going to owe him 5 million, but the guy has dedicated himself to the team. He's been with them for over a decade and he sacrificed himself on both sides of the ball each game. It's hard to come across a leader such as Troy Brown and he was one of the main keys to their success. IMO, I think they will regret this move down the line.

Can't believe this after the way he's played for them especially this past year playing both sides of the ball and special teams. Hope he lands at Cincy at least that would be a little closer to his current home.

i hope this move bites them back, hard!

umm people if u already didnt know i love the patriots, and this move kinda made me mad, but when i thought about it, he was too much money for them at this point, he was a nice solid player but they already have 4 wide receivers who are all great, and he was kind of a defensive liability, and trust me this move wont bite them in the back,, remember that tyrone poole is cumin bak, hes are starting safety, and this move was made also to help the younger defensive backs get playing time and develop...but ill miss u troy brown, a hall of famer in my book

well, not too many players wouldve done what troy brown would have. it takes someone with some great atheltic ability to go out and perform on both sides of the ball like that. The patriots should have double checked on what they were doing.
