KBA Middle School State Tournament?

Does anyone have the results from the KBA state tournament yet? It may not be over yet, but it should be close. Johnson Co. and Dorton went 0-2, but Belfry was 2-0 last I knew. They had beaten both E.J. Hayes and Clinton County handily and seemed to be on a collision course with Clay County in the Semis.

After I made the first post, I went and checked the website and saw the results. I didn't think they would have it posted that quickly. The championship was really lopsided.

Looks top me like Belfry had the 3rd best team in the KBA tourney. I say 3rd best because I know they are at least 20 points better than Elkhorn, who was beaten by the runner-up, Sebastion, by only 4 points. Bad luck in the tourney draw for the Lady Pirates.

That was the Elkhorn team from Frankfort instead of Pike County. They had a pretty good team though. They really got after it on defense.

Belfry had two make the all tourney team. Congrats to Alexis Howard and JJ Bevins.
