Powell is returning 7 starters next year ... including their Qb , their Rb , their Fb , and their whole offensive line except Lt which can be replaced ... thats just their offense ... i think the Defense was all underclassmen except for 3 ... Middle School only lost a couple games ... big commitment from players that didnt play last year ... i think that 65 ppl has signed up for weightlifting ... lets hope they stick to it

powell's team should be good next year considering the fact that most of them are young..but wow 65 people singing up for the football team and weightlifting thats awesome right there..but yeah powells middle school 7th and 8th grade teams are really good..they have a really good backfield coming out of Jesse Rose and a couple others the middle school team has got some speed specially the 8th grade they have quite a bit coming up which is good...Looking for a truly good season this year for powell if we can keep our coach and get another one of our former lineman coaches back to help out

They didn't get the job done UK. Powell's big line could have been solid but the line coaches neither knew nor pushed the kids to get better. If you don't know it or have the mentality for it, YOU CANNOT TEACH IT EFFECTIVELY. You cant take managers and make them into line coaches, NO WAY.:ChairHit:

I look for coach Jones to clean house on his assistants. CLEAN HOUSE!
Bring back KC, He does have a football background. Bring back Scott, He's dedicated and dependable. CUT THE REST OF THOSE JOKERS LOSE! If all the same assistants are back "SAME STORY, DIFFERENT SEASON". Coach has got to do what's best for the program, No matter how nice of guys they may be If they don't know it or can't teach it, You cant spend all your time coaching coaches more than you coach your players.
Coach, "SOMETIMES YOU GOTTA CUT A MAN LOOSE", Don't worry about who gets mad, Your job's on the line, Those guys could cost you everything. Couple of those guys need to come to terms with the fact that they are not football coaches. CLEAN HOUSE COACH, OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE BOLD!

Cant wait to see estill and powell play next year ... battle of the young guns ... who is estills seniors next year ... powells is basically its offensive line with a few receivers and defensive players coming back ... nobody in the backfield older than a junior next year ... but we will wait and see ... same things were discussed like this last year with talks bout return of sebey and shriner but look what happened ... powell was supposed to be good ... i think that powell needs to get its mental game under control because the physical game is their and is always their ... benidict and baber is all estill has next year and it takes a team to win ... i think powell has a team next year

Guys that don't have a clue can't teach kids how to play the game.

Coach has got to get a line coach, Not some guy who has never played nor coached and babys the linemen. If your line coach is a wuss, So will your linemen be.

estill has a lot more than benedict and baber. they have justin covey (LB) who will absolutely light someone up, kent muncy (OL) who's a beast of a noseguard when he's motivated, derrick collins (QB) who, in my opinion, is the toughest guy on the team, todd harrison (WR) has mad hands and isn't afraid of anyone, trey wiseman (TE) is like 6'6" and can annhilate anyone in his path, and "bear" carson (OL), who can literally rip your head off at anytime. so yea, estill has more than just baber and ben. a lot more.

You forgot Daniel Philhower (DL), probably the best defensive player on the team!!
