Breaking Benjamin is out of the Godsmack show; to be replaced

Heard this from a very reliable source, Godsmack will still be playing, just that B.B. will not be there, and they will be replaced with another band. Hope everyone still plans on going!

I'll be there on the floor.. I figured this might happen because if you look at their schedules you will notice that Breaking Benjamin in a different place than Godsmack on December 2nd and this show being on the 3rd it isn't likely they will meet back up.

Shinedown is my favorite band so that's good news, but I question if it's true.

I found out a week ago that Breaking Benjamin wasn't coming because of a fight with Godsmack backstage after a show, so they're wanting off the tour as soon as possible

Shinedown was originally scheduled to play with Staind and Hinder on December 3rd in Georgia but they may have switched over to help out with Godsmack. They've played together quite a few times this year so I hope they come. They have comfirmed to be playing with Godsmack on the 2nd, so I'd say it's true. Should be a great show.

That will be a great show. If it's just them 2 bands that will be freaking awesome. I loved Shinedown with 3DD and now that they have gotten a lot bigger I hope they get a lot more stage time. They're one of the best bands out right now!

They've been one of the best bands out for 4 years now, it's just sad that they are finally getting recognition this far after. This will be my 4th Shinedown show if they are coming, and 1st time seeing Godsmack. Should be interesting.

I sent godsmack a msg via myspace askign who breaking benjamin would be replaced with on the dec. 3rd pikeville expo show and they sent a msg back that said shinedown. I am also under the impression that a band called hourglass will be there as well.

i wish hinder would come instead of shinedown because I saw shinedown (which was great) at the 3 doors down show and have never saw hinder.

Shinedown is confirmed, on their website, that they are playing a show in Columbus, Georgia on December 3rd. I do not think they will be in Pikeville with Godsmack.

Still don't know who will be opening for Godsmack in this show. It's not Shinedown and I cant think of any other big bands that would be coming. Hopefully they get somebody decent in there to help make it worth the ticket price.

On another note, Shinedown will be in Louisville on the 8th with Staind and Hinder so I'll probably be hitting that show up as well.

thats a good tradeoff. my wife will go with me now. she likes shinedown.. I love godsmack so it should be a nice show.

Shinedown isn't going to be there QQ.

It's Crossfade and Soil opening up for Godsmack, per Godsmacks site.

Kind of sucks because they were just there a couple months ago, but still should be pretty good.
