Sc will come out keep the football the whole 1st half... And I will admit they will probley give up a big play but they won't get down... Belfry will not know what to do when the score is up for the favor of SC

I am of the opinion that Belfry called a "somewhat minilla" gameplan in the first meeting against Sheldon Clark. I honestly think Haywood saved his best for when it really counts.

That said. Shawn Hager knows how to coach against Haywood. Hager was Haywood's golden boy for 3 years and knows his old coach. I think Hager owes a great deal to Phillip Haywood for the coach his is today, but also has the advantage of being the apprentice of IMO the heir apparent (although no time soon) of Belfry football, Jim Matney. Hager dreamt about the game earlier in the season, he made his kids believe, and they pulled it off.

I don't think youth is served come round two. I think Phillip Haywood shows why he is a top 5 coach in the ENTIRE STATE and wins when it really matters. Belfry has wanted Russell for a year now. They received the wake up call they needed in week 8.

Haywood will make the proper adjustments (namely putting more beef on the d-line) come round 2 and Belfry will do enough to beat an inspired and full hearted Sheldon Clark team.

When your backs have to play the whole game in order to win as compared to Balfry's backs which most of the season has played only the first half, then you do amass more yards. This is just plain common sense

I think if Sheldon Clark beats P-burg, they will only get as far as the bus ride home from BELFRY.........no Belfry did not show a strong Defense at Sheldon Clark the second half, but also there will not be any Sheldon Clark "HOME COOKIN" either. With that being said, I do hope Eastern Ky is represented in the State Championship!

Of course im rooting for my cards all the way! It would be nice to see them win against Belfry twice in one season. And then make it to state after region. But Belfry is hungry. If it wasnt for the Pirates then SC could make it alot farther. Sad thing is tho. BHS is in the way.

nice post.... I try to be sensible about most games, but you are right, Belfry is Hungry, and if something happens and we loose to SC, I hope they can take it all the way to State. I am always for someone from the mountains!!!

There is no way that anyone in this district will make it to state. If anyone does it would be Belfry. I have said it all year, SC is not that good of a team. They may beat Prestonsburg, but that isn't that impressive considering Prestonsburg is down this year. But honestly, I see Prestonsburg beating SC again, but then losing to Belfry.

When i'm wrong i'm wrong. Pburg looked like a totally different team from game one. SC looked like they hadn't played a tough team all year.
