Mason Co. @ Ashland

Final meeting between these two great programs for a while Mason is always ready in the playoffs played Rockcastle close last season lost in the final seconds and Ashland has been really flat the past few weeks and barely got by mason last time if the tomcats wanna win they better come prepared or they could be beaten very early this postseason with that said

I think Ashland is suffering an emotional let down from the JC game. Then a close rival game with boyd county. If they don't over come it they could find this to be their last week. It will be a real test to for their coaches to get them back on their feet.
If they don't show up I will take Mason Co 15-14
If they they do show up i will take Ashland 28-14

Ashland has plenty of talent this year if they can get over this emotional hurdle i think they'll do fine with emotion playing such a huge role in football games this one will come down to who wants it most and who wants to go back down to JC to take another wack at the Eagles. I look for this one to be a nail biter. Its win or go home time the Tomcats need to realize it and get goin! :popcorn:

I am going to take Mason 21-14. Mason is a good team and is going to be hard for Ashland to beat twice. And Ashland is not playing good football right know. Ashland better play like they can or they are done Friday

If Ashlands offense comes out flat like they did against Boyd than they'll lose. But if Thomas gets alot of carries and quick slant catches than he can create plays.

You are right about Ashland having an emotional letdown. But after losing 40-0 to JC last week, what kind of hope could Mason have either?? I think that Ashland will come out with something to prove and beat Mason again. But if they don't show up to play, then they will be done!

Come on DAWG !!!!!! Ashland barely squeeked by Mason the first time, barely beat Belfry, barely beat BOYD.. got trounced by JC.....Ashland scoring 279 and allowing 176.. Mason allowing only 145.. I think that Mason has a great chance of upsetting Ashland.. just stating facts......

I wouldn't consider a 5 point loss to a team with only one loss this season getting "stomped." Especially with 7 starters out, or forced to play out of position due to injuries, and that's just on the offensive side of the ball.

No other team from the area besides Fairview matched up with Raceland. It's not out of the question to say that Raceland was the best team in the area this season based on area matchups.
