Well those politics have got SV to two straight regional championship games!!
Most schools would appreciate a coach that achieved that!

Last point I am going to make. You guys get on here and talk about how coaches are just blessed with good players and that is how they win. I think it takes a Great coach to make these great players mesh together and work as a team to win. Take Phil Jackson for example. He has won a ton of championships with great players, so is he not a great coach? Painstville has by far had the most talent over the past 15 years, and Bill Mike has won championships with it. So don't tell me that a coach gets lucky and wins a regional championship.

Matter of fact I think it is sometimes harder to achieve with great players because of the pressure and because of the bull's eye that is on you every game.

If Booher is such a great coach.. How come nothing was accomplished at Belfry when he was there?

Don't speculate on things you don't know about. I am pretty sure you can't suspend anyone also.

Because Randy Casey isn't the best coach in the world either..
But whats sad to say, is that Belfry has competed with SV.. and had way less talent.................................................................
So, I do think Randy Casey is better of a coach than Jason Booher

Jason Booher is horrible.. I made my point.. The End.. Game over.. :1:

Phil Jackson also had players who had never played together b-4 while Booher has kids who have either played against one another and know each others tendancies OR have played AAU/Grade School together their whole lifes...They have meshed b-4 they get to him...HE IS A GOOD COACH...We can not take that away from him you guys But hes has miles to go b-4 he can even be condisered as the best

BMR has the best accomplishments, but it will be a bitter sweet ending if he can't do something with these guys he has before they graduate! Hopefully he can!

Its hard to say who is the best. One thing is for sure Rodney Rowe was a great coach. He never quit anything, and everyone knows that. He still would have been there today winning as always if some of the parents wouldn't have got involved.
Sv will still be good this year. They are young and will go through their growing pains, but one thing you can not take away from Jason Booher is that he is a worker. He works hard to make his team the very best he can! They will always be in the hunt. The region is down and SV always has talent.
As for Bill Mike he has a lot of talent but still hasn't done anything with them. But you cannot take a state chapionship from him! The ring speaks for itself.

I agree hootie, rowe was the best coach around then. He was actually offered the job at ER, but had to turn it down due to family obligations.

you actualy think that rowe was better than Runyon when he was a coach? Thats a joke and a half right there. Rowe quit at least twice that i can think of in the middle of the season. Rodney Rowe. What a joke.

Anyone know what coach Adams formerly of Magoffin Co. is doing these days. I though t he was a really good coach. Neevr had the most talent but those kids would run through a wall for him.

Johnny Martin, BMR, and Barry Hall are the three top coaches in my opinion. They all three make sure that thier boys are ready on the ball floor as well as they are prepared for life after high school......and thats what a coach is supposed to be. Someone who you can go to for anything, myself I know that Barry Hall is one of the best guys you will ever meet, like a father figure to me for the past 4 or 5 years and I owe him a lot, thanks coach!

Well he's won more conf. & dist. titles than any other coach in the 58th dist. and been to the regional more than any other coach in the 15th the last 5 yrs.
