Sounded like a great game, congrats to the panthers on getting the win and congrats to Jenkins on a hard faught game
#3
This was a big suprise Congrats on the win Pikeville and way to hang in there Jenkins
#4
Definately a suprising game, I thought Pikeville would at least hang 50 on them. I guess its better that a lot of the other district leaders played them earlier on in the season.
#5
Pikeville got A TON of yards but couldn't convert.

Congrats Panthers!

Well I am shocked on this score. Nothing against Jenkins and great effort on your part.
NO WAY Pikeville is this class A state champoinship contender I keep hearing about, NO WAY..................... Pikeville is Tradition, Pikeville is Pikeville, NO WAY 21-14 OVER JENKINS IS ACCEPTABLE. Pikeville will have a good year, No contenders though.

I'm sorry and I'm not trying to take away from Jenkins at all, GREAT EFFORT!
The bottom line is 21-14 over Jenkins by Pikeville, Well...........That says it all.
No way EVER that should happen. No way, No excuse, A win is a win, But a 21-14 win over Jenkins by Pikeville is............Really don't have the words to describe it.
#12
Jenkins will get the #4 seed
#13
Jenkins (WE) played a great game.. its unheard of jenkins only losing to pikeville by 7...
GREAT JOB FELLAS... looks like we'll be seein them in a few weeks...

Thats just plain out pitiful. Pikeville has now played two games in which they should have blown both team out but let them hang around. The Panthers need to get up for every game and not just the big ones. The coaches need to do a better job of motivating the kids to come out and play. I also think they need to open up the play book and come with some different looks every once in a while. They have the talent to get to the state title game, but they need to be mentally prepared. This isn't the same Pikeville as they've had years past where they could show up and win. They need to have some heart and get out there and play hard on every play and show people what they can do. I do tip my hat to Jenkins for playing a great came, but come on Pikeville, WAKE UP!!! I mean im a huge panther fan, but come on,WAKE UP!!

Talent to go to state? Pikeville has a bunch of bad attitudes and talent doesn't mean anything if they can't keep their head. Pikeville had several personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conducts, which kept Jenkins hanging around. It was probably the worst coached game I have ever seen at Pikeville. Pikeville threw the ball up 21-6, when they should have been running the clock out. Mike Jackson let Jenkins stay in the game. His play calling is definitely getting him on the hot seat. If they would have lost that game Pikeville fans would have thrown him off the Potter bridge on the way home. Worst Pikeville team I have ever seen.

Congrats to both teams

Yeah, they do have bad attitudes they needed to run the ball, but they wanted to air it out. I agree if Pikeville lost people would be calling for Jackson's head.

Yeah Jenkins played hard and jenkins has really stepped up

Guys you realize I'm not against Pikeville. I'm for Eastern Ky. football. Pikeville has some big time problems when they beat Jenkins 21-14. That's unbeliveable.
I went to football camp with Matt Blair, I know Doug Charlse. I'd love to see Pikeville back on the carpet, 21-14 over Jenkins just wont cut it over there. I can't even forsee any state championship aspects now.

Yeah the loss of Mayo really hurt..not saying he would have made that 7 point win a 50 point win, but he sure would have helped...as for state i don't believe this is the year....Pikeville has potentional to get back to that level of play but it will take a lot of effort and commitment that im not sure those kids are ready to give

can i say that maybe jenkins wants to play and i know cause im on the team and it really tweaks my a$$ to heaR people talk about how pikeville should have killed us but maybe we wanted to come out and play ball oh and by the way the offence is the most obvious o ive ever seen and even south floyds o wasn't even that obvious...................oh yeah we goin to playoffs. I'm not questioning Jenkins effort they played a great game, but I'm disappointed with Pikeville effort and heart that they showed. If Pikeville's offenSe is so obvious then why did Daniel Harmon run for over 180 yards? Pikeville is used to make the playoffs and i congradulate you on it, but at Pikeville more is expected and no one is doubting Jenkins's effort, but Pikeville did not play smart football tonite.

well the only reason he had over 180 rushing if he even did is cause he touched it EDIT-23 times and that sucks 4 a pikeville tailback. the other part of it was tim honker..EDIT-rules violation . like i said he talked and talked but if they gonna talk they need to back up what they say. i will give them this they really did a good job but as they say man its (we wanted it pretty bad cause its been 14 years since we have beat or even hung with them) who wanted it the most and we almost come back to take the lead and beat them it was a good one. -_-_!!!~Still goin to play offs~!!!_-_-

A moral victory for Jenkins, but if you know you are going to play them in the playoffs why are you putting up bulletin board material? This year is different, if you do in fact get the 4 seed most likely you'll be playing Pikeville in the first round, you all will meet up again. But good job tonight, let this momentum carry you on to the post-season and best of luck the rest of the way out.

Congrats Panthers

IMO the Score dosnt look good for the Panthers ! Congrats to them though and congrats to Jenkins in an almost comeback win !
#28
Both teams have been off for two weeks and that is all Jenkins has done has talk smack on here and it didn't look like it motivated the Panthers too much to me. Pikeville will be lucky to be the #1 seed. Hazard could very easily beat the Panthers at Pikeville and be the #1 seed. I think Pikeville's offense is pathetic and their special teams has a lot of questions getting an extra point blocked and a punt blocked that was returned for a touchdown. Jenkins has a lot of momentum going in to playing Allen Central at home. The district has really tightened up in a hurry, and it looks like anyone could get upset this year.
#29
Closer than I expected it to be
#30
I was wrong on this one too, on the score anyways. Congrats to Jenkins on fighting hard, and Pikeville on the win.
