LMS 8th Grade -v- Johnson Central 8th Grade

The game is this tuesday @ LCHS.

This will be a DOG fight but with the leadership of Chandler Shepard I say the LMS pulls out with a victory.

Sure hope so. Hopefully the boys aren't too rusty from all the cancelled games. They sure were upset Thursday when Ashland cancelled. Don't know who was more pissed, the boys or the coaches.

Heard these boys(8th grade) may be playing 3 this weeK? Tues w/JC, Thurs w/verity/ and Sat w/ Belfry. Any truth to any of this?? Sure is alot to ask of the boys if its true!!

Gotta go with LMS on Tuesday-what little they have gotten to play, they sure are tough as nails!! What's up with everyone cancelling on them? They have worked so hard to have only gotten in 3 games all season.

It is true if no one cancels on us. The only thing is that thursday its only the 7th grade and they play Rose Hill at home and both play Saturday at home against Belfry.

Verity has not rescheduled yet to my knowledge. Don't know what time the game Saturday against Belfry will be. Am going to try to find out the details tonight after practice.

there playoff games start tomorrow.. they have a bye the first round just didn't know if they would schedule a tough game liike this during playoffs

This has been scheduled since the start of the year, it was scheduled for thursday but moved it up to Tuesday.

8th Grade is undefeated at 3-0 and the 7th grade is 3-1.

It was a close game but JC won 34 to 28....Neither team showed very good defense.

The game was good. The rust showed for us, its hard to get ready to play when everyone cancels on you. Have to give JC credit they were big, there three backs were bigger than most of our line.

Our boys held in there and left everything on the field.

Good Luck Saturday against Belfry if they show up.

jc came in thinking tonights games was going to be a cake walk, the lms dawgs fought with everything they had including their heart, this group of young dwags are going to be evry tough in the years to come, they may not have been as big as jc players but their hearts were bigger than all of them put together. good game dawgs there is nothing to hold your head down for,keep it high and be proud you gave jc one of their best games they have seen.

Bottom line-this was a great game that could have gone either way pretty much up til the end. Anyone have any stats??

LMS sure did give JC a run for the money and no doubt suprised them a bit. I could not possibly be any prouder of them as a team than I was last night. They played hard, fought hard, and should hold their heads up even higher than if they'd won-they earned it!!
I don't know who all was there to watch but sure does make the future of LC football look brighter!!
