As a Belfry fan, we just hope that you go and upset someone in the playoffs on the other side of the region. This is something that Pburg has been known for. I know that there is a bodcat out there that I would like to see tamed by the Batcats in the playoffs!

uh oh, could be a really hard game for Belfry

Then I shall come to the party, lol...I was watching game film on Belfry/Prestonsburg and seen where #15(was it Epling) and seen the catch that he made and was thinking, "man, this is a team that runs the ball 97% of the game and has a kid like that at receiver and probably has many more like him...." If Belfry wanted to pass for 500 yards one night, I guarantee you that they could! Would like to see Belfry open up in a spread one game just to work on there passing game so when they need it, it will be there. But it is hard to argue success because IMO opinion it doesn't get any better than the coaching guru's at Beflry! Congrats Pirates and keep on' keepin on!

Congrats to the Pirates. Thanks also to Foxsports for allowing us to hear streaming audio of the game. Like someone mentioned earlier, Prestonsburg just does not have an offense. They don't have a triple threat like Belfry. Year in and year out Belfry has 3 guys lined up in the backfield that can hurt you equally as bad. Prestonsburg just does not have that. I gotta give P-burg's D some credit. They held 2 of Belfry's 3 pretty much in check all night. I think Chapman was the one who had a great game. If I'm not mistaken at halftime he had like 6 carries for 70+ yards. Maynard and the other guy only had around 50 yards combined. I commend them for that, but if they are going to be a playoff contender, they are going to have to get some type of offense going cuz you cant expect your defense to last an entire game with offensive three and outs. Once again congrats to the Pirates and good luck next week cats!!

It was a good win for my Pirates. The passing is getting better and better, which should scare some teams a little. The atmosphere in the stadium wasn't anywhere close to a normal Belfry/Pburg game, but that is just my opinion.

I have to give credit to Pburg's d-line for the goal line stance in the 1st half. They knew it was coming right up the middle and held.

I know that Sheldon Clark is next for Belfry and we will be ready, even though it is at Sheldon Clark!

I think the rushing statistics were:

May 23 for 74 (good job Pburg D)
Epling 8 for 75
Chapman 12 for 120

congrats belfry

I agree with that ! But I think its because where not seated in the same bleachers ! We where across the field and you cannot really of heard any chants we where doing !

Blackcats might have gotten their butts kicked but is hard to be any team when the refs are paid to cheat. Yea I said cheat.

One of prestonsburg's player was kicked in the face and a flag wasn't thrown. What would you call it?

I didnt see it, but things like this happen in every game ! IMO it was a well called game ! I only think there was about 5 or 6 flags threw the whole time !

That might be a possibility too. It didn't look like there was as many fans there as there usually are either.

I actually thought that this was the cleanest and most sportsmanlike game that has been played between Belfry/Pburg in the past few years. Very classy by both teams from where I was sitting.
