I don't know the names, but South Floyd has a young team and should prove to be a contender for the next few years (as well as 2006)

Belfry starts two 9th graders--Brittany Branham and Meghan Staten both are all round players. Paige Thacker--Belfry--10th grade could be the best player in the region along with soph Conley from Johnson Central. Coach Maynard at Allen Central is loaded with many sophs.

Johnson Central starts 2 sophomores Brogan Conley (hitter) and Brooke Conley (setter) with many more freshmen and sophomores on the bench and ready to step up whenever necessary!!

South Floyd has alot of young players sophmores: Trista Damron, Danielle Tackett, Allison Daniels, there are prolly more but i cant think of them Freshamn: Laken Hall, Brittany Little.there is 1 7th grader Ashley Castle and she starts on Varsity !!! so i think that Sf has alot of talent in the program and will compete for the district and region in the next couple of years and also this year.

When did Ashley Castle begin starting on varsity??

Yeah... SCHS has a very young team... they arent losing too many players this year... Sophmores Brittany Dalton and Daisha Finley should be the main players to look out for.... Freshmen to watch out for from SC are Desiree Stephenson and Brittany Marcum... both have had Varsity playing time and should be great players as their skills improve!!

i think that alot of these experinced young players will step up and help out next year but i think in the 15th region it will be a rebuliding year for alot of teams

I'm not sure but I think Paintsville has a lot of seniors, but JCHS only has 2 seniors....so they have most players returning. What about the rest of Region 15?

I think maybe AC might have one or two but not many becuase there young this year along with belfry who will be loosing 3 seniors. It will hurt PC loosing haley. ER im really not for sure how many they have but they should be pretty good next year. Im not really sure about any other teams.

I have seen everyone in the region play this season and Freshmen is the #1 from S.F. i think her name is brittany she has servedd over 200 times this season and has only hit 9 balls out of play and can pass and kill so freshmen wise she is it.
Sophomores, Hodge from A.C. is really good, Conley from J.C. is really good and thacker from Belfry good sophomore class.
The Castle girl little #11 played against A.C. in a big game the other night and played as well as anyone on both sides and she is 4'4 and in the 7th grade. Maynard the coach from A.C. said she might be the best ever to come out of the region.

SF defenitly has some of the best freshman and sophomore players in the region. They will be a team to contend with for years to come.

Allen Central had 4 Sophomore starters this year
Brittany Hodge
Koko Martin
Hannah Howard
Kimbo Blevins
There losing 4 Seniors, but have plenty of experienced Sophomores ready to play next year.
Also, freshman-Kelsey Jones got some varsity playing time this year.
They should have a good team for the next couple of years
