I herd ER beat Grundy in a scrimage.

I really havn't herd anything about Grundy but I say Shelby Valley wins by 1 TD

Because I have played both teams and Shelby Valley isn't as physical as Grundy and I think that will make a diffrence in the score.

Grundy is 0-3....should have beat Clintwood but turned the ball over 6-7 times...other 2 loses came to Richlands,runners up in State 2A last year and will probally win state this year...other was Bluefield runner up 3A state last year and looks to win it this year....They have played a monster schedule so far..nothing against SV but they havent played anyone that could stay within 60 of any team that Grundy has played...could be a good game but Warriorpride is correct in saying that Grundy is physical...they will hit...and the game being played in Grundy has gotta make them hungry.....Grundy 30 SV 8

I dont know anything about this years Grundy team but if they are the same quality team that they were around 3 or 4 years ago when the were playing some good Paintsville teams then they should win. Shelby Valley showed some good potential in a scrimmage against JC earlier this year but Grundy will flat clean your clock. I remember a couple years ago Paintsville went over there and came back with 5 or 6 injured. Overall should be a pretty good game but ill give the edge to the home team, Grundy, VA wins.

Well I'm gonna say Valley by 3. Grundy is usually a very good team. Last year Valley played them the best they ever have, and I look for them to win it this year. Lets go Valley!

Yea, Valley got lucky on us but best not worry about it now. I just can't wait until the wave crushes Valley.

We went in to halftime 12-8.. then came out in 3rd and SV scored 14-12 and then in the last 5 minutes of 4th they scored 20-12.
but enough of it we have to get ready for Clark and Valley and they need to get ready for a loss from the Grundy Golden Wave

ER was up 12-at the end of the first, and half of the 2nd qt. then we fumbled on our 20 yd, and 5 mins until game- 20-12. we're on vally's 15 and dave rattliff (my hero) threw a int. u need to get a life u probly wasnt at the game so dont try actin like they shut us out.anyways grundy plays a whole lot better than valley and a lot more physical

By the way it's half time and Valley was up 14-12. So obviously you wasn't at the game either. And if Grundy plays alot better than Valley whats that say bout ER..............And as for my life nope I wasn't at the game, I was at work. I listened to the game on the radio and I have a little cousin that tells me about the game he was at and played in.

I'm sorry I know it was said enough about east ridge, but I was told to get a life so I figured I'd prove a point. Now Go Valley ride the wave surfs up!!!!!

If you're coming to Grundy, it'll take about an hour (prob. less) from SVHS.
Don't expect any delays due to the "work" going on "downtown".

If you're a 1st timer - go to Mouthcard and hang a right.
When you get here, you'll hit a 4-lane past Hardees. Go about a mile and get into the left lane. Turn left at the 2nd light. Go a couple of miles. Turn right across the bridge just past the hospital.

One entrance is up on the hill at midfield (home side) - it also has a concession booth.
Main entrance is on upper end near the school. Consessions and rest rooms are on the right.

I have watched Grundy and Valley this year, Valley is a little better and Grundy off some this year. One thing that is still there is the hitting of Grundy. I think this will be the difference in the game. After no. 4 nailed that wide out he caught only one more ball, but dropped several more open balls. One thing is constant about Grundy is that they will nail you. FINAL SCORE, NO CLUE.
