Russell/Powell Co tale of the feature backs
#1
A little bit of information for all the Russell/Powell Co fans on the 2 feature backs. I got this information off of the KHSAA website so if either team has not reported all of the stats I am sorry.

Powell Co #5 Robbie Raker
Rushing: GP 4 Attempts 73 YDS 377 YPC 5.16 TD 1 YPG 94.25
Receiving GP 4 Receptions 4 YDS 178 TD 2

Russell #24 Kasey Clark
Rushing GP 4 Attempts 65 YDS 449 YPC 6.9 TD 10 YPG 112.25
Receiving GP 4 Receptions 8 YDS 175 TD 1

Looks like the nod goes to Raker on both the receiving yards and TD's. Both backs seem to be having a solid year. We'll get to see both in action tonight on a muddy field at Henry R. Evans stadium.

No insult to Powell here but there really is no comparison. Raker has done a good job for Powell county but you cant put him in the same sentence as Clark. Man I'd hate to be going to Russell tonite. It's kind if like a lttle challenge is on the line here as to who the better back is and Clark is one of the best. Good luck to Powell but Russell will shut Raker down all together. I just hope the kid makes it out in 1 piece. Those big monsters Russell has on the front line is going to be a whole lot scarier than Freddy Kruger and they wont wait till you go to sleep to inflict damage. I hope Powell doesnt have alot of injuries so they can get ready for the rest of the season and hopefully win a couple more possibly. Raker is a solid little player for Powell and has done a good job for them but Clark is the man and I see a stingy Russell defense shutting Raker down all together. Not trying to offend anyone just being realistic. I still see Raker having some big games this year but I mean nobody looks good against Russell. Good luck to both teams but this time Goliath wins. Powell do your best tonite, That's all anyone can ask for. Russell is awesome!

Kasey Clark- 5 TD's 290 yards rushing- 75 receiving.
Robbie Raker- 2 TD, 1 late in the 4th, 85 yards rushing with 1 run being a break away in the 4th. 25 yards receiving... Grand total of 110 yards.
Clark also wins Homecoming King and wears the crown during halftime.

Good luck both teams but I think that Russell will win this one..... Remember PLAYER11, you owe me something tonight after the game...... Ill be there.

Powell is young , play alot of freshman. Raker has got most of it on his own. He's not a real big back but plays hard and he hasnt been 100% healthy all year. I hope Raker has at least 1 good run or 2 tonite. Powell has a good young prospect at Qb too. Midee if your at the game check out Powells big left tackle Harlan Elam, Hes a monster.
Not the right tackle, The left one I think he's #72

Will capture him on film tonight... dont worry...GETUM...

I'll be there along with FBALL and Devilologist. I may end up setting with Devilologist since it is raining and my wife already said she wasn't going. I suspect his wife will stay home as well.

We'll look out for him.

OK, Only got a minute here BUT:::::::::::::::::::::::
I am from the planet earth and I do understand and can appriciate what is going on here. Raker will be a non exhistant factor, TRUST ME.
I feel bad for Russell for even having to play Powell county.
Raker wont do anything besides be VERY,VERY AFRAID.
I really believe Russell's frshman team would beat Powell county by 30.
#18
That bunch from Powell better be praying for the next 5 hours.

No one ever said anything about Raker or Clark being a factor in the game. I just put some stats up there for everyone to read.
