The only native coach to win a state championship is Bob Wright at Ashland in 1961. Maybe another name I have heard of, harrell is he a pike countia A individual champ was someone from Belfry when they wore Maroon and a D. Stapleton from Elkhorn City around 1980. Hillard won three, Jack Hall won one. (BOTH FROM LETCHER) Coach Haywood won two and I dthink he is from F;oyd, but noy sure.

Are you sure I think Jones is the only one but I could be wrong..
Matt Maynard finished 3rd in the 100m dash(2006)
Jones, 4-100 team finished second (2005)
Jones won the 100m dash in 05 he was hurt in 04
