Like I said to not be able to hit the dam QB in an option offense kinda limits your defense a little don’t ya think. Also in a real game when you fumble the ball 3 times you don’t get the ball back to run the rest of your 10 plays to score a touchdown. We dominated! Live with it.

Alright…I went back and watched the scrimmage from last night. Took some notes and here’s what I came up with.
Belfry has a really loaded backfield full of weapons.
There were multiple times plays were blown dead before a tackle was made, or a kid got lose, there were two guys there to make a play but the play got blown dead. After each team took a couple heavy hits to their QBs the whistle got really quick. Playing against an option team that got tricky. There is no way of telling who “won”. What I see from the film is two teams that absolutely fly to the football. Belfry was the aggressor early on, but it didn’t take long for that to change. Both teams played with a lot of aggression, but were also very poised in their approach. Both teams look the part of an experienced team. Both groups need to work on coverage as both got burnt a few times. Belfry missed some opportunities in the passing game. And with teams like Ocath, will have to get better defending downfield. Both teams really well downfield. Especially from the WR positions. Belfry looked like I thought they would, running that offense very well, very good upfront and super physical. My Rams surprised me with their over all team speed and the strength and toughness definitely improved from a year ago.
Prior to the game, everyone, myself included, had Belfry pegged as a team that could win 2A. That being said, Raceland looked a lot better, ino, than what a lot of us thought. We have a lot of depth as well upfront, which also surprised me.

Raceland has a really good shot at their first trophy but in all the years I have watched them they have never dominated Pikeville just like last year but in 2017 their refs dominated pikeville but maybe they do it this year we will wait and see and what does hitting the quarterback have to do with hurting the defense when the quarterback pitch ed the ball

Is there a place to go back and watch scrimmage?

Anyone who sees anything more than a fairly even match up of 2 teams who could be really good in October is just watching through rose colored glasses. I was impressed by Raceland but definitely not as impressed as you were.

Dominated! 2017 you are referring to the semifinal playoff game. Not our Refs. Out of region refs in playoffs. And as for the Qb thing not talking about pitching the ball. It’s when he kept the ball when we had guys there ready to take his head off but couldn’t hit him.

Estep with the incredible touchdown with a minute and a half left to send it into overtime. Then Charles with the victory run to win.
A great slice of the storied 100 year history.
