I really think it is a great hire!! Very few recognize name but he going be a dandy of a coach for Bobcats. It may take him a year or so ,but he is a fierce competitor.

As with jobs, it all depends on how long he is given to do it. If they leave him alone and do not run him out after 1-2 seasons, it could be a good hire. He is young, and I am sure he knows the game well. Experience only comes when you get to do the job. Give him at least 3 years and see where you are.

Don’t know this guy a lot. Knew he was the assistant I seen.

His dad was a coach at Jackson City for basketball and baseball. Had decent success there in both sports. Cameron ended up finishing at Perry Central. As for coaching, not sure of his experience other than that he helped Honeycutt. Breathitt lost a lot and is a rebuilding mode. It is hard to get a developed coach to come in and take on that role. It may be a good time for a young and up-and-coming coach to get their feet wet where the expectations should be low, should?

I like Cameron. Fine young man good teacher. His dad John good guy too. I think he’ll do good. He is a winner. Won region as a player and coach. I like the hire for my bobcats.
