Where is this hosted this season?

Hazard is definitely the favorite. But, Knott County and Wolfe County is very close behind . I think this could be one of the most interesting 14 th regional tournaments. I also think Estill, Breathitt, Letcher Central, Perry Central and even Powell County could get hot and knock one favorites out.

First Round of the Region Tournament will be the most interesting... Every team has a good #1 pitcher that can win the first round game... Hazard has the best rotation, if Wolfe had someone to call pitches they would be ranked over Hazard.
It's Hazard's region to lose because of their coach....the other teams are too close to pick

Two years in a row that all 8 teams can win in the first round. The team who has the better 2/3 after the first round will be in the driver's seat. Should be a fun region to watch. Last year was a good one with several good games.

As always in the 14th a lot of it will come down to the draw and if teams get to hold back their #1 pitchers. But, it’s wide open I could see 4 maybe even 5 of the teams winning it.

Not many teams can hold their #1 back. With that being said who is each team's #1 and which team has a legit 2?

Hollon, Whisman, and Oliver are all 3 very tough arms wolfe then also has 2-3 more arms they can compete with.

Seems like Wolfe, Knott, Hazard, and maybe Estill have the arms to win multiple games. The other teams will be good for one game, but would take a bigger effort to win beyond the one game. Now don't get me wrong I haven't seen everyone play. I have seen scores and every now and then get to see these teams online. I do feel that all games will be good ones.

Pitch calling for Wolfe is questionable at times.

My projection going into the region:
53rd
1. Knott
2. Letcher
54th
1. Hazard
2. Leslie
55th
1. Wolfe
2. Breathitt
56th
1. Estill
2. Powell
Here's my two cents.... Knott is playing good baseball right now. They are hitting well and have a decent pitching rotation. Letcher would be a bad draw as a 2 seed for another district. With Williams on the mound, he could cause problems. Letcher has suffered a couple of injuries that has hurt the team. Hazard, although they lost to Knott yesterday, is the best all around team with quality pitching and hitting. Leslie (possibly could be Perry) will be a task with Simpson on the mound. They need to clean up their fielding and find a way for the bottom of the order to move runners. Wolfe has the best pitching in the region plus some big bats. If the players can find some discipline and go into the tournament as if they are the underdogs then they will create noise. Breathitt is a young but very talented team. Bash on the mound can create problems and they put the ball in play. Well coached and will only get better. Estill has improved all season and has played a tough schedule. I think this team could find its way into the semifinals. Powell has played a very tough schedule and their W/L doesn't reflect the potential this team has. Dicken is solid and will be a task for any one seed.
With that said, I like the following teams in semis:
Hazard
Wolfe
Knott
Estill
Hazard
Wolfe
Hazard - 14th Region Champion

I'll agree with the Weatherman on his or her notes.. it will come down to coaching so look for that to play the deciding factor..

I think if wolfe finds someone to call pitches whether it’s another coach on the staff or someone they have to bring on it’s wolfes to lose. They have the best rotation in the region and multiple big bats and as a team as a whole when they hit the ball they’re very hard to handle. that being said though as everyone stands right now i think hazard is the favorite but wolfe and knott are not far behind

I’m going with Knott Central. Sean Damron does a fantastic job.

Knott has been playing some good ball lately and the district title game vs Letcher will be one to watch with Williams on the mound. Letcher already beat Napier at kcc then they returned the favor last wk although Williams only threw 2 innings of shut out ball. I think Perry comes out with hazard then whomever draws the 2s of breathitt, Perry, lcc/kcc loser is in for a tough 1st rd game in region. I think we’ll see a lot of small ball in region as well & who has enough quality pitching depth will win, I still think Wolfe is the favorite with being at home.

He is the one who beat Hazard and Hazard beat Napier. Although Napier did beat Wolfe so they have a good 1-2 combo

It’s going to be tough to beat Wolfe at Wolfe.
