I don't think anyone cares that people recruit and bring people in.. it's more so the "we don't do that, outside factors brought these kids in" that is laughable.

Guess JH wasn't happy about not winning a title last year. Interested to see how that will change the dynamic of the team with your starting QB coming back off a great Junior campaign.

With new additions to teams, Anyone have an updated top 10 they'd like to share going into the end of school? ill start
1. Boyle County (W/ new addition(s) pending)
2. Covington Catholic (Lots of production returning overall.)
3. Franklin County (Lots of Production returning on offense.)
4. Paducah Tilghman (Question marks in places but return some good players and have 1 big time addition)
5. Corbin (Salmons has a year under his belt and WV kids are eligible now)
6. Highlands (New to 4A but bring back starting QB)
7. Johnson Central (Tough mountain boys will never back down. Not sure they have the horses they once had)
8. North Oldham (Return QB and a top target. New district should allow them to get to 3rd round theoretically)
9. John Hardin (Returns states leading rusher and under Preston, they will always have a shot)
10. Taylor County (Have some big strong kids, just stuck in the district with Boyle makes things tough)
Many of these teams could be swapped and the top 6-7 teams can take home the hardware if thing go right for them this year. Has there ever been a class this deep even in the 4 class system? Gonna be an extremely fun year!!!

Has nothing to do with who played last year and how they performed. You coach who shoes up and play your best 11 regardless of what they have done/have not done for you in the past.

I can get behind that to an extent, but if a kid has come up through the program, waited his turn and performed better than most expected, I'm sure there will be some disgruntled folks. It may not be in the locker room, but i can guarantee parents and some fans will not be happy and anyone who has coached football knows it only takes 1 problem to balloon into more and more problems. Loyalty has become a thing of the past in the current sports culture that is for sure.

Sorry. Looked at the initial alignment. Taylor/JH will be a battle for that district.

From what I read online the kid from TN just had ACL repair in January with a stated earliest return date of the end of July. That is only 6-7 months recovery time so who really knows as it could be Sept-Oct or later before he is even ready. This seems more like a move for the 2026 season once the current Boyle QB has graduated.
