From Bell county Logan Greene will be a good one going into his sophmore year after starting on defense as a freshman. For Middlesboro James Polly and Cameron Mosely. Both will be going into sophomore year after starting as freshmen last year and being solid. At corbin ima say the Salmons kid will surprise some local people at QB outside of the corbin fanbase.

Somerset has a strong 8th grade class coming up right? Who are the ones to watch from that group?

Is Pulaski picking up any transfers this offseason? Seems like the balance of power has shifted from the South side to the North. Any good players making moves?

I heard one kid transferred from SW but can't remember his name, LB/WR I think he was hurt last year and didn't play. The hiring of Greer at SW may have persuaded some kids to stay home and see how that's going to work out and Somerset is going to be a handful for the years to come so I don't see any one from there leaving. So I think PC is pretty much set in their roster.

Pulaski co is loosing more players than they are picking up they just lost 3 of their top middle school players to Somerset one going to be a freshman this year. After they ran GJ off it’s not going smooth for them right now. Both of the wooleidge are enrolled at Somerset now.

Is GJ joining the staff at Somerset? Seems like if he's unhappy at Pulaski it would be a good opportunity for some school in the area to go after GJ. What happened with him at Northern?

I guess count me skeptical that GJ plays at Southwestern, coaches there and Northern…steps down and is at Somerset. I ain’t saying anyone is lying, but someone has to prove this somehow.

If true, Somerset making correct moves.

Gj has 100% enrolled both his boys at Somerset last Friday the oldest one will be a freshman and the younger one will be 7th grade both great ball players Pulaski let 2 good ones get away as far as him coaching idk what his plans are but I am sure if he wants to coach they will find something for him.

I can assure you no one ran Mr. Wooldridge off, no one begged him to stay like he wanted though.

Hold up on that car wash gentelmen! You can say they didn’t run him off but at the battle of the regions practice when the Pulaski coaches heard rumor they were enrolling at Somerset they told his kids to get off the field and that is a quote and it is not taken out of context and that pretty much sealed the deal. If the coaches hadn’t been so sh*ty to his kids he would pet have left them at Pulaski.

Funny thing is, is that the true “rumor” wasn’t about Somerset. But since it seems like you know the full “truth” you must be a Believer of anything said. The real quote was one of the boys was disrupting practice in street clothes and not participating in that practice, therefore he was a distraction for the others. Then he was politely asked to step off the field.

Not sure exactly what happened and where the Woolridge boys are playing heck from my understanding GJ had taken a position at Corbin and they was going to be going there lol. I have the upmost respect for Coach G as he was always great with the kids at Northern, I can tell you from my personal conversations with him that he was pretty upset he wasn't offered at least a position coaching job at PC for awhile that was including under the old administration as well. I wish him and his boys nothing but the best no matter where they go.
As far as Pulaski goes they will be ok with the current roster they have with or without transfers, would I like to personally see one or two especially wide receivers yes lol, but at the end of the day they will give anyone a run for their money for the next couple of years

Coach G was offered multiple coaching positions at PCHS, but he chose not to take them. While Coach G is an excellent coach and person who connects well with the kids, it's important to clarify that some of the "facts" that people believe are part of this situation are simply not true.

Not sure what "facts" you are referring to. I can only go by the "facts" I was told from him. I can also tell you this as a "fact" that any successful coach at a middle school feeder program should have support from the high school coach and for the entire time GJ was there this wasn't the case. Do I think anyone ran Coach G off no, do I think he will be successful wherever he goes yes. Now as far as your comment earlier I also doubt he wanted anyone to beg him to stay but when you simply feel not wanted why stay? I'm sorry if you have had a bad experience like it sounds like you have and I'm in no position to argue with your "facts" but please don't act like you know all the "facts".

I know Coach G was offered a "liaison" position to connect the youth, middle school, and high school programs. However, he chose not to accept that opportunity. He very well could have became a position coach at the high school as well. The roles were there for him, and I think it could have been a great way to bridge the gap between the programs. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t work out, but I believe it speaks to the complexity of the situation and the reasons behind his decision to move on.

I still think Coach G is a great coach and person, and I agree with you—he will find success wherever he goes. I just wanted to share those details to give a fuller picture of the situation from my perspective. Again, I wish him and his boys the best moving forward.
