Does the 15th Region Transfer Portal open after tonight’s championship game or do they have to wait till after the state tournaments are over?
03-11-2025, 07:52 PM
The portal is always open.

Same time as Ashland and Boyd’s does

I'm sure the rumor mill will be wild & rampant, hell it already is with possible coaching changes, can't imagine what it'll be like with players possibly transferring.

I’ve heard some wild rumors. Don’t want to post anything without knowing more details or just based on hearsay but some of the names I’ve heard is crazy. Would be major shakeups.

I heard 14 different names during the boy's tournament.

I hate that kids are moving all over and don't have the loyalty and hard work it takes to put in staying power
in the school they start out in. I can name 5 boys right now, that were absolutely made to do it by their
Parents that would not have done it if they could have made their own decision. Sad really......

Boyd county only returning player is heading to Josh Cook or Jason James.

From the Tug to the Ohio and a couple creeks in between. JJ will provide. I hear the team is taking a plane ride to Vegas next year. Sounds fun to me.

I hear LeBron is taking his talents to the 15th this offseason.

Word is that Travis Perry & Trent Noah will enter the portal, reckon Jason Mays has a lock for them both down the road at Montgomery Co.

Heard MC is supposed to get a stud from up in Charleston in the next coming days I guess we will see for sure soon.

Just wait for all the coaching moves and changes. Then the players will start moving, once they see where everyone lands. I would guess the most moves will take place in April.

Which one is it. They have two returning starters and the kid that tore his acl. That started before he got hurt. I’m assuming you are the parent of one of these kids to make that statement but you just make up lies anyway. Look at the rest of your posts. lol

The word is that Carter from APB will be playing his 8th year at Montgomery. JM will teach you how to circumvent the khsaa.

@HOOPFAN when I first read this I thought it said he would be playing his 8th grade year at Montgomery, which with Mays track record, it wouldn't surprise me if he hoodwinked it somehow for him to be starting middle school again!

Jason James and Bryson dials to Pikeville is confirmed from what im hearing, surprising news considering watts is getting a 5th year.

He had around 8-9 and up to others. If you don’t know his track record and reputation then you have your head so far in the sand that you have no clue. You remember he was let go because he was recorded talking about 3-4 other kids he recruited while recruiting the kid he tried to get. lol. Smh

98% of kids that transfer to schools are first approached by the parents and the student. The “recruiting” charge gets overblown quite a bit.
