He was at APB 4 years, won 4 regional titles (and their first in 17 years) and had three transfers in that period of time that actually played meaningful minutes for the Tomcats….Porter, Marcum and Carter. The first year he was there they won the region with a roster he inherited when he took the job.

I don’t know how many others came but I do know only 3 played meaningful minutes in his 4 years. And you are being hyperbolic about him talking to “3 or 4 more”. Coaches aren’t sitting in their offices or home calling parents asking them “could you find it in your heart to send your kid to my school.” That just isn’t happening. 
  98% of kids that transfer to schools are first approached by the parents and the student. The “recruiting” charge gets overblown quite a bit.
