Didn’t see the game, listened to it. Sounded like Knox was very competitive, but couldn’t keep Maddox off the ft line where he went 10-10. Nice game for Trenton Cole, he finished with 18, Mr Huff finished with 28. Good test for HC, Knox will win a lot of game the next few years..

Knox put up a heck of a fight. Nothing to hang their heads about. They’ve got a bright future with Burton in the mix.

Knox has a pretty decent team.  Other  than at the line, Huff had trouble scoring the ball, wonder what his percentage was?

I didn’t feel as if he was shooting poorly, he had trouble finishing. Partly it was because the officials have said we are letting it go. There was 5 times he got into the lane and I thought, he’s gonna get fouled, and then it just played on. Very physical both ways, that just plays more into the underdogs favor. If this game was 3 weeks ago and at HC maddox huff would have 25 free throws. Tonight he had 10 and he earned those 10.

Maddox is the farthest thing from a foul merchant, some people in this region (teams too) are foul merchants. They want every call, they shoot 30 plus free throws a game as a team and have more whines than smiles. Maddox played through physical defense all game and still lit it up in my book. Some players are in for a rude awakening tomorrow night when they don’t get to the line 30 plus times. Clay loves it cause they can’t shoot free throws anyways lol.

Trenton cole, you go man. He gets his face busted up last week. Plays one heck of a district championship with a mask on. And he’s the true player of the game tonight especially on defense which is something he’s not really known for. Congrats to the bears that was a great game to watch as a neutral spectator. Knox has a bright future if they can get the little things sorted out. Madden one night looks like a top coach, next night looks like he should be on the chopping block. I think if they can get some tweaks figured out they are a contender come 2026 and beyond.

Trenton Cole just showed up and showed out! I love to watch this kid play! So much heart and dedication.

He got the POTG award from our local radio station, and it was most deserved.
