I heard that El Amin from UPIKE has been over to PCC a few times. At first I thought it was for recruiting but I’ve heard rumors that he is going to be the new offensive play caller at PCC from inside sources. In my opinion this would be a smart move for PCC to bring in an outsider with college coaching experience who has produced an All-American QB. Dont know how the air raid will work at PCC but this could be something.

Would that honestly help a lot? Isn’t UPIKE football terrible? Sounds like some of the Neaces who made connections at UPIKE when they played there is just trying to smooth things over and make it sound better. Truth of the matter is until all the current staff is gone it’s not going to make any amount of difference. I mean in all honesty, who would want to play for a coach who didn’t believe in you and went in to a playoff game no matter who it was against and said “let’s change the rules, if you get up 21-0 let’s let the clock run.” That’s a slap in the face to your players, their parents and a whole community. Should’ve been fired on the spot for suggesting and agreeing to that.

Is that really an accomplishment? I honestly don’t know. All I know for sure is if Perry keeps their same staff the demise of the football program is upon us sooner rather than later.

UPIKE has had great success with a conference championship win, national playoff run, 3 straight winning seasons as well as many players being all conference/all-americans

I never knew they were worth a dime honestly. Thats great for those kids. Someone needs to publicize it better. Need to get them a PR guy like Perry has so they can tell everyone about it. Kind of like some of Perry’s board members and higher ups telling people and kids from surrounding counties how they’d win 4A in the next 3 years and would be playing on Kroger field next season.

no matter what Perry is gonna do which is nothing. they are still gonna suck no quarterback coaches paying kids to stay because the program is so sorry and they don't want it to die. Like it should some of the worst people around are on that coaching staff and board

It really is a sad time and situation for the mighty dores. People are finally starting to realize that just because they spent millions on those fancy scoreboards it doesn’t help you be better. If it were me I would’ve used that money to where it could’ve been useful. The bleachers in the gym are absolutely disgusting and need replaced, could’ve done some upgrades around the football field and used some of that open space up there to put in a mini sized field like some of these other GOOD football programs have so that these young kids will have something to do during games. That may help keep their interest some and keep them involved with the Perry school system. Lord knows things aren’t good at Perry right now and they need all the help they can get. All I hear is about the new indoor facility they’re getting is going to really push the football team right on over the top. Does that mean we should look for 5 wins instead of 4 in the coming years?

When you schedule a meeting and coaches and administrators keep changing the dates and times of when you’re supposed to meet, then eventually stop answering your calls and messages it’s pretty much a sign of they just don’t want to do anything about it doesn’t it?

PCC coaching staff is awful from top to bottom. I’ve tried and tried to get the board to see that there’s problems that come from them but they’re like gods in this town. We’re headed for the bottom and the ship is about to be wrecked completely. SMH what’s it going to take for them to realize a change is necessary??
