How could anyone have gotten a screenshot of Mays paying a players electric bill?  I just don't understand how that could happen.

That is a good question that I've asked myself. He has had some great teams over the years, and had several opportunities to win the 14th and get to Rupp, they made it in 2020 but of course the State Tournament was canceled due to COVID.

This just might be the best team he has had there, and like I said he has had some great teams, but if they don't make it you have to wonder if he would step down and bring someone new in. Also like you said, if they do make it, no better way to go out than making it to Rupp.
This team and the 2020 team could possibly be the best two teams he has had. 2020 was left unfinished due to COVID. If this team does win the region like I think they will, he really won't have anything else to accomplish. Well he doesn't have anything to prove anyhow. Will be hard to replace Big Al when he does decide to hang it up.

I know the consensus is he’s leaving after this season in the region but I have heard from people at hazard he has told people he is staying a few more years. I don’t want to say much more but source is very reliable. Although that could change at any time. Gotta keep his health in mind and overall what’s best for him.

Did you not got to "X" and look at the Nate Bryan post? VENMO is the app he used to send money to pay the electric bill. You may want to level up on your tech knowledge.

Alright, let’s dive back into the fiery pit of hotseats—because, in my humble (yet totally accurate) opinion, Coach A over at THE COUNTY is the one really feeling the heat right now. Coach J Mays at MCHS? Cool as a cucumber. Coach R Bonner at A-TOWN? Definitely not sweating it. But Coach A? Let’s just say they might want to check the thermostat, because the seat’s getting pretty toasty over there!

I don't care who posted it on X, explain how he got it to post?  Mays isn't taking the money out of his pocket to pay these bills, and even if he was, don't you think he would have someone else doing the transaction of the payment.

LOL...The person that he paid obviously took the screenshot of it. It is Mays paying what is titled electric bill on Venmo. HOW DID IT GET OUT? Well, the person who took the screenshot sent it to someone to brag or show that Mays is paying the bill for him for coming there to play.

He has a history of getting caught and doing things of this nature to a lot of recruits/transfers as some may say. So, NO, I don't think he had someone else do it. Does he take money out of his own pocket? I don't know nor do I care. I would be safe to say that the money account he is putting into his own account is coming from boosters. That is just an educated guess.

It’s pretty clear that HOOPFAN has a deep investment in what Coach J Mays is doing—whether it’s out of sheer admiration or perhaps a tiny bit of jealousy. I mean, let's face it, it’s hard to ignore the fact that he probably had visions of his kid running plays under Mays’ guidance, and now, well, he’s just watching from the sidelines. It’s like when you watch someone get the role you auditioned for—you can’t help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, that could’ve been your kid in the spotlight. But hey, it’s all love... even if it comes with a hint of “what could’ve been!”

4 quarters totally called it—HOOPFAN's got more unresolved issues with A-Town and Mays than a soap opera plot, and at this point, even he’s wondering if he needs a timeout from his own thoughts!

Haha you two clowns asked how could he ever be caught!! Simply just trying to help the simple minded. Haha WOW!

Hot seat for coaches. Seems perfect content for the heading.

2 weeks left before seasons start ending and moves start happening. Who are some hot seats and what are some potential open jobs?

Coach A @ Boyd County is on hot seat win or lose, Assistant Coach J Wallace & AD breathing down his neck.

I’d say Coach A isn’t in any trouble. I do think Bonner will be if they lose the Region this year. People in Ashland are not impressed with his coaching. Now you have people in the program and around the program say the team he has now is the best team and deepest team ever assembled at APB. If you lose either a team labeled as the best ever. Well I’d say your days are numbered.

I don't think Coach A leaves until he wants to. According to people around the program that was going to be after this season, but rumor has it he may stick around. Something to do with his retirement plans

Let me rephrase this statement Coach A @ Boyd County is on hot seat win or lose, Assistant Coach J Wallace & AD breathing down his neck.

If coach A retires this year (I say he does) THE COUNTY new HC J Wallace (in training, look what he done during season having a set) will be appointed to the position, a decision that will be influenced by his father-in-law, the Athletic Director.

I think Coach Anderson will leave on his own and he should. Whether it is this year, next year or the year after. This is high school sports. Regardless of what parents think, high school sports are not the same as college sports or professional sports. High school sports are not financially driven like college sports and the objectives of high school sports are entirely different. People with little or no knowledge of the development phases of adolescents and the teaching of life skills and the mental, physical and emotional growth of adolescents will argue this point but to the knowledgable person that arguement does not hold much weight.

As far as this year's Ashland team being one of the deepest and most talented teams in the past 10 team, that is strictly a statement to attack this year's Ashland team. There is little or nobody in the Ashland community believes that statement unless they are a family member of a player or a hater. Social media is a fun hobby and a great way of getting information. But most people know there is a lot of false stuff posted on social media this is one of those cases. There is probably less than 5% (1 in 20) of the Ashland fans that believe this team is the deepest or most talented team in the past 10 years. And that 1 person is either a family member or a hater. I'm just carrying "The Message".

Smith at Phelps has already announced his resignation at the end of the season. Someone posted on here before the season started that one of Shelby Valley's principals, I think, was trying to make Taylor a one and done but no proof was posted there.

I did hear a rumor that Moore will be out at Floyd Central and Rady Martin will be in, but who knows?

1. Floyd central with Alan Jo, the talent he has had past few years and nothing to show for.

2. Tommy McKenzie at JC, hear he’s got a ton of pressure from everyone around him. Three coaches kids play, easily have top 3 player in the region in slone and another top 10 player in Shepard, to barely be above .500. I wonder how warm his seat is if they don’t get it together while parents and school board stew over.
McKenzie being on the hot seat is a joke.  Absolutely no pressure being applied by the school board, I can guarantee that, and I know.  As for parents, every team has their select to deal with.  Just ask some that post on here.
