I would love to see them win the whole darn state.
Saw them last year at Corbin. They were taking a pretty good tail whipping late in the game and, yet, were still playing their butts off every possession and every kid on their bench was still standing and applauding their teammates. I was very impressed. I said at that time that these kids are gonna be special a year from now. It's official---- THEY'RE SPECIAL!!!

John Henson’s stats had Bell County going 6-15 and Harlan County going 5-16 behind the arc. I said 18 attempts were needed to win. Harlan County played zone most the game, and Bell county played man which is usually flipped. I thought Bell had about 5 or 6 open shots against the zone they passed up and resulted in turnovers or near turnovers. Everyone knows my philosophy to let it fly if you see the rim, and rebound. Bell County didn’t really do that until the second half. Henson had the rebound difference at +10 for Harlan County but I’m going to say it was +15 until the last 3 minutes where Bell County stepped it up on both ends with putbacks and actually defensive rebounding.
People will forget, but Maddox Huff made one heck of a clutch shot with 12 seconds left to tie it before Cayden Huff hit the game winner. Heck of a game with at least 20 lead changes.

These two teams are clearly the region's best, imo. South, because of Mabe the Manchild , is very dangerous and capable of beating the top two on any given night. The rest of the region.... meh, meh, meh, meh, meh

Bobcats pulled off a great win for them, HC throughout the era of Noah and Huff has lost only a handful of games over a 6 year run. Hats off to Bell, I’m sure it will give them a lot of confidence, but will also give this HC much to be motivated for come postseason time! This feels like the kind of game we will get between these two teams at least once and possibly two more times this year! Congrats to the Bobcats and Let’s go Bears!! The coach that learns the most and applies what he’s learned in these first 3 games between these two teams will win the biggest games to come I believe….
