Last time they played Floyd beat them by 8 l at Floyd central. So since it at prestonsburg this time and they had time to work on offense and defense prestonsburg takes this one.

I think that FC will win this one if they play like they did Saturday Night. Keathley will do what he always does and it get his. Which in my opinion is all he cares about. I will take FC.

I'd love to see Pburg take this one, but I think we're playing really bad basketball right now and FC is playing decent. If something doesn't turn around in the burg then we may end up winning fewer basketball games than football games this school year. Go Blackcats!

Both teams in desperate need of a win and a little push in the right direction as the season winds down.

FC has Spriggs back but really hasn't made much of a difference as this team has lost 8 of their last 10. Prestonsburg had won 3 in a row before their loss to BL last Friday. I noticed in that game from the beginning that body language was bad, and it showed pretty early on that they had no interest in being there.

FC did win by 8 at their place early on in the season, but that final score really doesn't tell the story, FC had control of that game for the most part, being up by nearly 20 points late in the game, but Pburg done some window dressing and cut into the deficit. You know what you're going to get from Pburg, Keathley will do his thing, but you can tell he has reverted back to his ways at the beginning of the season, and it's really taken a toll on the rest of the team, really doesn't matter what you get from the supporting cast at this point, I think they're everyone checked out, especially the Seniors. FC has struggled, they've got some of the best young talent in the Region, the Buck kid is going to be a very special player, the Howard kid is a luxury that every coach in the 15th or surrounding areas wish they had, a big man who is has actual size, raw talent with all the potential in the world. Pburg also has a good assortment of young talent, especially the Shutts kid. With the right coach & staff in both places, these young guys can get the development they need, and give fans something to look forward to for the future.

With all that being said, I will take FC in this one by 14.

FC is 7-15 right now. 3-9 in the region and 1-4 in the district. They have a lot of talent, decent depth and good experience, not to mention a strong history of basketball tradition and support on Beaver. They should be WAY more competitive than they are in the 15th. I think Pburg and FC both deserve to be dogged on here for the product they have put out on the hardwood this year. To be frank, it’s embarrassing. Those kids deserve better. Between the school board politics in Floyd county and the mishandling of the athletic programs since the inception of FC I’d say it’s hard for those kids to stay loyal to a county and school that don’t really seem to care about you. I hope all those kids stay in Floyd county after this season, but I wouldn’t blame them for leaving. I love this county that I call home, but the problems with it from 50 years ago are still the same problems today. The faces change but the problems stay the same.

This game depends on which Pburg team shows up. If Pburg comes out playing 1 on 5 then give me FC by 20. But if Pburg plays as a unit, it’ll be a competitive game

I am taking Floyd, I do not think that PBurg has enough scoring that can keep with the Jags and I do not think that their defense is good enough to stop all of the threats on the offensive side for Floyd. Floyd by 12.

If Floyd does win it will be closer than that. Last time they won by 8 at home so it being played at prestonsburg and this being the battle of who the 3rd or 4th seed will be  in the district. I’d say 2-4 points if Floyd does win.
