I never said high priced coaching salaries. I said high priced salaries with jobs that were made up for them. Look that one up magnum P.I.

now how am I supposed to look up a made up job. what is the job title? I do some digging and see if I can find some suspicious job titles. Mom always said I'd be a journalist.
also you are showing your age with the television show reference...great show!

Looks like the max for a Head Coach is $13,700.00, if he is also the strength coach.

That’s still too much to pay for the whole coaching staff. You all can’t grasp what I’m saying clearly. There’s been jobs that were made up for certain people at that place and the king holds one of them for about a total of 100,000 a year with coaching salaries and god only knows what else under the table. Bottom line is keep putting out the money for nothing. Makes you all look even worse than you truly are. Good day!!

I’ve heard for months. Perry is going to have a new OC. Tonight someone from Perry central told me that they’ve talked or interviewed a few people and all have turned them down. He said Trevor Hoskins (Paintsville) El Amin (u pike) and jason Chappell (NOrth laurel/whitley). He said that would be naming neace an offensive coach and would use him as the scape goat if another failing year for Fugate.
#39
You’ve got the same coaching staff returning as you did last year. People may as well go ahead and come to terms with that. Dixon, Fugate, Neace. All those last names will be associated with Perry football for years to come. Some people are ok with that and some have enough sense to see the writing on the wall that things will never change and Perry will always be someone’s first round beat down.

Just setting and looking at the grand scheme of things and a few more questions pop in my mind. I’ve heard talks of several transfer rumors of kids leaving to go to Hazard. I’ve heard Deaton, Haddix, Partin, and Gibson all have expressed interest but a lot of people just talk when they’re losing and things aren’t going well so I’ll look over that for the most part. The main concern that pops out to me is the QB situation next year. Do they ride it out with their current QB and let it cause internal issues like it did last season with the Dixons and Maggards at each others throats, or do they change it up and go with the younger, fresher Maggard and take the chance on losing both the Johnson kids and their families money??

Perry dont have a history of good QBs, yes they’ve had some decent ones but at the end of the day, you have to have a O-Line and big time recievers… Any one can throw the ball if given time and if they have guys that can catch it.   So the concern isn’t QB, it’s protection from the O-Line and recievers to catch the  ball.  We won 7 games 2 years ago and a playoff win because our O-line was really good and we had a couple recievers that could make plays when they got opportunities, and the line gave our QB time to make reads.   we also have to keep our players at Perry and quit letting them leave everytime something don’t go their way.

Had the same line this season and a different QB. Slone was a good high school quarterback. I’d say 7 wins is the best you’ll ever see at Perry as long as the current staff and administration is involved.

You may be right on the 7 wins being our best season, and yes Kizer was a good high school QB , think he is still playing in college even, so Not taking anything away from him, but you can’t blame the QB for being the issue with the current team, the recievers we lost are just to much to replace from 2 year ago. My point was simply, if the Oline holds up and you have big time targets to throw too, then anyone can set back there and throw it a few yards to let the athletes make plays.   Just can’t put it all on the coaches and QB. You get once in a lifetime players every now and again come through your program, and they graduate or transfer, it takes time to build back and recover from that loss. Perry will be fine, we have some nice young players coming up even all the way down to our second graders.

Who’s this once in a lifetime player you’re referring too? I’ve been around and saw everyone from back into the 90’s but not sure exactly who you’re talking about.

i feel a lot more will be leaving to heard rumors how bad the coaches treated players and how it was a complete mess and kids want out

im hearing alot of players are coming to Hazard ...Cant blame them though

The Perry coaches have shown their true colors in the last few days. No doubt there will be more to transfer.
#51
It’s really pitiful how grown men act like babies. True colors come out when you’re put on the spot. That sorry ass bunch deserves every bad thing that’s happening to them right now. I hope the whole team sees what great leaders and role models they’ve got and decide to either not play for them or head out somewhere and play for someone that will appreciate them. Kudos to the Partin kid for doing what he feels is best for his future. To the Perry staff. Some of you are probably decent human beings but some of you aren’t. Quit using these kids as pawns and let them be happy. Clearly something is wrong there. The county kids are leaving to go to the city school but the city kids aren’t leaving to go to the county. That whole school system needs a shake up from top to bottom. I for one hope they keep it just like it is and all their good student athletes leave them. Getting humbled is about to bite you all right in the ass.

Just saw 3 vehicles with Perry football stickers down at the Breathitt County high school? Anyone got any information
#53
This might be sarcasm but don’t be shocked if Breathitt don’t get a player or 2 from Perry. Pcc might be playing 4A football with a 2A roster.
