If you were told UK will get one win in the next two games, which would you rather they beat--- UT in Knoxville or Arkansas in Cal's homecoming game?

UT is the better resume win, BY FAR. But we simply can't lose to Cal, can we? I'll reveal my answer after a few of you have chimed in.

Tennessee. It's a much bigger resume win, especially with it being on the road. A home loss to Arkansas would sting and would hurt our metrics, especially if they were to miss the tournament, but a road win over a top 10 Tennessee would more than offset that.
Also, I'm much less worried about Cal (at this point in his career) turning Arkansas into a national power than I am Tennessee and Barnes eventually parting ways (whether due to retirement or otherwise) and those low-down, dirty snitches hiring a coach that will really push them over the top.

For me Arkansas. We can't lose to the man that left us and took the entire roster and now has lost his best player for the year and to add to it, at home.

A loss to Arkansas would hurt worse but not because of Cal. We lose to a higher ranked team like Tennessee then we may drop some but we lose to a non ranked Arkansas team we will drop more.
Of course beating another high ranked team is a great resume builder come March.

Obviously both would be great, but right now we just need a win no matter what, and beating a team like UT is desperately needed right now. Can't go into the Arkansas game losers of 3 in a row, but of course winning at Knoxville will be easier said than done.

We're gonna have to hear Rocky Top off and on during the game. If we beat Tennessee, at least we won't have to hear them singing it in celebration, after the game.
So beat Tennessee
So beat Tennessee

You better always have the mindset that you're going to win the next game. That said, it would be Rocky Top.

The more I look at it, the more I remember how flawed the NET Rankings are.
Kentucky is 6-5 in Q1. They're 1-3 in road games (where Q1 is 1-75), 2-1 in neutral site games (Q1 is 1-50), and 3-1 in home games (Q1 is 1-30).
I doubt that a road win over Kentucky would push Arkansas into Q1-- it'd take much more to do that. At the same time, that kind of win should really push Arkansas up the NET while a home loss to Kentucky shouldn't be too damaging for Tennessee.
For a team in Kentucky's situation to have a Quadrant 2 home loss (to a team 31-75) hurt you so much that a road win over the NET's current #4 overall (Tennessee) wouldn't offset the damage is a bit asinine. Same goes for a potential road win over Alabama.
Know that the NET Rankings are only suggestive, and I would hope that the committee would factor in that the home loss to Arkansas was a huge rivalry game, especially when the biggest knock anyone could have with Kentucky at this time is their lack of quality road wins (currently only #21 Mississippi State).

A road win in Knoxville would make me much happier than a home loss to Cal would make me sad.

Without question, I have to say Arkansas.
