I don't know if you realized this or not, Belfry and Sheldon Clark both came from 3A ! And there playing against a Prestonsburg team who almost went to 1A two years ago! Much more student at both SC and BHS ! IMO the Prestonsburg and Belfry game will be great this year cause either team dosnt have big players but they both have the thing that kills and thats Speed along with Strength both have a great Weight Lifting programs ! But this game this season could go either way !
sheldon clark almost went to 1a 2 last year and i belive they beat p-burg 20-21 so it doesnt matter about how many people is in ur school it matters how much hart and soul the players bring to the field each week..so dont start posting crap that p-burg is goin to beat belfry or sheldon clark..the only way that will happen is if the teams are haveing a bad week or some of the starters are hurt..

It Dosnt matter about how many people is in your school ? Yes it does.
And a school with a weight lifting program will always beat a school with a that dosnt have it ! And also a school with 60 players will always beat the team with 25-30!

This is the game I think all Belfry fans and Prestonburg fans look forward too. I look for CAM Stadium to be packed out and no room to walk just like it was at Vipperman the year before last. I got to take the Pirates in this one but P-burg isn't going to just give it too them.

I watched the Grid Iron Bowl last night between Leslie and Pburg and I was not impressed with the burg at all. IMO it wont even be close Belfry big!

Didn't think I'd see this thread until atleast Friday night. Belfry is Belfry, and Pburg is down a little bit this season, but they have started playing pretty good football since they handed the Paintsville Tigers' their first loss of the season. I look for it to be an exciting game, but the Pirates take this one and pull away a little bit towards the end.

This is always a good matchup...
and I will pay a complement to Prestonsburg; there fans are always there to cheer them on, they get wild and crazy and that just reminds me of the folks down in death valley.

Doesn't sound like a bad prediction..i could honestly see this if Belfry fumbles the football as much as they did against Pikeville. If not, I think Belfry wins in by 10 points.

The last time P-Burg played at Belfry it was a close and exciting game. As I was leaving the stadium several football moms of Belfry said they wished that P-Burg would have beaten Belfry because Belfry was thinking they were all that. It seems that maybe that is happening again. It's a game and anyone can win, which is what makes it exciting. Cheer for your team but I see no point in being rude. Remember these are kids ALL doing their best.

No offense, but Bobby Hughs is no Trevor Compton. Whoever plays WR is no Nick Jamerson, and the tailback is not Blackburn.
Granted, this Belfry team is not Jones and Howard, but still, the Pirates have superior talent.
I look forward to a very good game. I know Pburg will play hard, and I respect the heck out of that! I just think Corey Chapman, May, and "better" front will beat Prestonsburg.
