Final from Pike Co. Central. Caleb Clarke with 16 points for the Tomcats

Wow. The 15th is just awful. Expect a similar score vs Pikeville.

I agree 110% but I do think that Pikeville can keep it competitive tomorrow if they screw their heads on straight. Who knows anymore.

Ashland's defense was very good in this game, really put the clamps on Pike Central

Watched this one online… this was a beating from the tip. Ashland scored twice in less than 30 seconds. I don’t think tomorrow will produce a similar outcome..

Not saying the 15th isn’t down but Ashland would do to this to about any team in the 13th, 14th(Besides Hazard), 15th and 16th region.

Ashland is loaded with athletic basketball players for sure, but they are not putting a beat down on any team in the 13th fella… They caught HC on their home floor in their own Holiday tourney a night after HC just beat a top 10 ranked team, but HC’s 2nd best and most athletic player went down to an ankle sprain in the game and HC played Ashland without him. Then Ashland caught Corbin also on their home floor and Corbin was very competitive in the game also on the road with 2 of their top 3 players being freshman. Let Ashland come to HC in a holiday tourney with refs hired by the school or just any home game where HC has lost 3 games in 3 years and see how that game turns out for the mighty Tomcats……Ashland is a really good team but we have at least a couple if not 3 or 4 teams that would be a toss up game on a neutral floor IMO…….

They match up better with Ashland but you are down 15-20 when you get off the bus. It’s that bad if you’re not from the 16th. Panthers have no chance today.  Ashland is legit and no slight to them. You just don’t go there and win.

Are Ashland’s players that have been injured all season back yet?

Yes, they had two football guys that were hurt, they both got healthy and returned, but one of them decided to not play anymore b/c of his football recruitment. But as of now everyone is healthy I believe

"The Glass House 'so-called adults' should be thrilled! Maybe they were just giving their starters a break or showcasing the 'Bench Brigade' to keep everyone entertained. ?"Hope that brings a smile to their faces!
