Happy days are here again! Four years of watching radical left-wingers make excuses for the crooked Biden administration are over. Optimism has returned to Washington and to the rest of the nation.
Trump is reminding everybody what a real American president looks like.

I enjoyed the fashions!! I never watch inaugurations very much, but I do like to pop in and see what the ladies are wearing. Jill Biden's taste is exquisite!! I loved what Malania Trump wore today, too. But first prize goes to Mrs. Vance!! That pink dress was one of the prettiest things I've ever seen!!

Vice President-elect JD Vance says people responsible for the violence during the Capitol riot “obviously” should not be pardoned, as President-elect Donald Trump is promising to use his clemency power on behalf of many of those who tried on Jan. 6, 2021, to overturn the results of the election that Trump lost.
Vance insisted in an interview on “Fox News Sunday” that the pardon question is “very simple,” saying those who “protested peacefully” should be pardoned and “if you committed violence on that day, obviously you shouldn’t be pardoned.”
Hundreds of people who did not engage in destruction or violence were charged only with misdemeanor offenses for illegally entering the Capitol. Others were charged with felony offenses, including assault for beating police officers. Leaders of the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys extremist groups were convicted of seditious conspiracy for what prosecutors described as plots to use violence to stop the peaceful transfer of power from Trump, the Republican incumbent, to Biden.

Joe Biden criticized Donald Trump for pardoning Jared Kushner's father, who has served time for his crime. Biden promised that he would never abuse the pardon power.
Biden is the king of lies and broken campaign promises. Most Democrats disagree with Biden pardoning his crooked family members.

You can't even count days accurately. Yesterday was the first half-day of Trump's presidency and he accomplished more than Biden did in 4 years. Today is the first day of Trump's presidency, although he worked more hours yesterday than Biden did in a typical week.

An earlier post that I made about the Oath Keepers was deleted. After researching the group, I realized that I had confused then with another Christian Men's group, the Promise Keepers. The Promise Keepers are not a right wing militia group.
As for the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys, because I understand how the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies correct confessions and guilty pleas, I am skeptical about most of the allegations against them, but I'm not knowledgeable enough about the groups to defend them.
Had the J6 select committee not destroyed evidence, and had Joe Biden not pardoned all of the criminals on the committee, we might have learned the truth about the roles that groups like the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, and the FBI played in the events of J6.

"I spoke with officer Harry Dunn at the top of the program. I spoke with the ex-wife of [Oath Keepers founder] Stewart Rhodes, Tasha Adams. They are both worried about their safety," Acosta said. "Do you defend what Donald Trump did, releasing these people from prison, pardoning them, commuting their sentences? Yes or no?"
"Congressman, I asked you a yes-or-no question," Acosta interjected. "Do you agree with President Trump's decision to pardon these violent people and releasing them from jail?"
"If they were truly violent, no, but do I know that they were? I don't know that," Burchett responded.
"What do you mean you don't know that? We're showing the footage on the air right now," Acosta said, as video played from the insurrection showing Trump supporters brawling with law enforcement on the Capitol grounds. "Congressman, you were there that day. There are offenders on January 6 who violently beat police officers. There are offenders who are convicted of seditious conspiracy. That is the truth."

As for those who Trump has granted clemency, most have served several years behind bars and their crimes pale in comparison to those who Biden has pardoned, including his family and the J6 committee members and the will never serve a day in jail. I have zero problems with the pardons and commutations Trump has granted to Biden's political prisoners.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he had pardoned Ross Ulbricht, the man behind the "Silk Road" online marketplace that facilitated millions of dollars of drug sales.
In 2015, Ulbricht was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of masterminding the "dark web" platform, on which some $200 million in narcotics were sold to customers across the world.
Ulbricht, who ran Silk Road under the alias "Dread Pirate Roberts" and who had also been accused of commissioning five murders, was sentenced to two life sentences for narcotics distribution and criminal enterprise.

Massive Police Union That Endorsed Trump Slams Jan. 6 Pardons
“Crimes against law enforcement are not just attacks on individuals or public safety—they are attacks on society and undermine the rule of law. Allowing those convicted of these crimes to be released early diminishes accountability and devalues the sacrifices made by courageous law enforcement officers and their families," the joint statement said.
The statement continued: “When perpetrators of crimes, especially serious crimes, are not held fully accountable, it sends a dangerous message that the consequences for attacking law enforcement are not severe, potentially emboldening others to commit similar acts of violence.

Biden's pardons of his closest adult relatives was a confession to the many crimes that committed. Anybody ignoring the Biden pardons and obsessing over those that Trump issued can safely be assumed to totally lack good judgment and objectivity.
The things that has impressed me most about Trump 2.0 is the number of questions that he has taken from the media already. I would be willing to bet that he has answered more questions from the media than Biden answered during the past 12 months - and nobody had to to tell him which reporters he to call on, how many questions to answer, or which questions he was allowed to answer. A real, live president after four years of nothingness.

As a Republican, I have one question for GOP lawmakers backing Trump's Jan. 6 pardons
I’m a Republican and I can tell you, quite simply, that Trump is dead wrong for pardoning convicted insurrectionists. That’s not a hard thing to say. Why? Because it is the breakdown of law and order.
My question for rank-and-file Republicans who refuse to speak out against Trump's pardons is simple: Where do you draw the line?
Say there’s a protest at a federal building in your district and the people there start going after the police, is that perfectly OK as long as they are Trump supporters? Will you press the president to pardon them?
What if white nationalist gangs, like the Proud Boys, in your district or state say, “We're with Trump. He’s going to take care of us. He’s going to give us a pardon.” Is that all you need to hear to give them a license to attack the blue?

To repeat, I am not bothered at all by any of Trump's pardons. What would bother me would be for Trump to pardon criminals who have not been charged with crimes and have seemed no time behind bars for their crimes. I'm other words, the kind of pardons that Joe Biden granted to his family and to the J6 committee criminals.
Complaints about the Trump pardons are nothing but distractions from the Biden administration's tyrannical governance. It was the most inept, corrupt administration in American history. No pardons are going to change that fact.

I'm sure that when some of the people on Trump's hate list start showing up dead, that will all be excused ase well. When The DOJ really gets politicized and they start going after people for doing their jobs, the Cult following will see nothing wrong with it.
It's going to get bad, really bad if someone doesn't step up and stand up to this want to be Dictator.
