What did my Flyer brethren think of the two UK recruits, Harmon bigger than I thought. Campbell has the tools.
#5
Same story for those two, as it is for several of the others. Kids have the tools and look the part, they just don’t match the physicality and grit of FC kids.

So you all know more about what it takes to play in the SEC thank UK coaches?  Oh, ok.   Smile

You all don't have any class.  You all love to bash Western Hills players.  Why get on here and make posts like this?  FCSPY, are you sure you are commenting on the correct players this time????  You got on here bad mouthing a Western Hills player a few weeks ago and as it turns out, you were commenting on the wrong player.   Your credibility isn't that good.

Esp considering in 4A and the state, the gold standard title the last 25 years belongs to Boyle and Trinity.

Too bad you don't feel the same way about attacking high school kids.

Without question, or hesitation, I would take 15 FC kids before picking either of those two UK recruits. They have the measurements, yes… but neither of them are impressive as high school players right now. I hope Campbell improves once at UK and turns into a stud. I believe the Harmon kid will, while in high school because he has always played football. Campbell is still VERY new to the sport and has a long way to go with learning. That is why he dominates against TWSFT’s early schedule and then goes quiet when they play good teams. I sincerely wish both those guys nothing but success.

I'll be honest with you.  I haven't taught, coached, or lived in or around Franklin Co in over 20 years.  You know more about what's going on than I do.

word is, LCA to be an assistant. Pete Combs telling Hills kids he's the next HC.

What is the back ground on Pete Combs?

Are the ties that much longer at LCA to leave a head job to be an assistant?

Word got around about two weeks ago he had been going after assistant jobs at some more successful programs.. Hills has a pretty bleak team coming back, and About any momentum they had going faltered last year after week 5. I would guess learning from some other programs and avoiding the mess at Hills were motivating.

Sounds like a mess all the way around. Does the boom box go too or is it staying at Hills?

it resided at the 50 yd line striking fear into the hearts of central kentucky teams

Update: Vanderpool wasn’t hired at LCA. So he’s left without another job. Guess he figured he’d rather not coach, than stay at hills. Don’t blame him.

This has not been a secret in Frankfort, Combs been calling around as head coach for a few weeks!!! Boom Box in hand.
