Final from Mizzou. This one wasn't close. Missouri shot well and led by double digits for most of the afternoon.
Things are not going well for Calipari in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks are winless and reeling. They have Georgia and Oklahoma coming up and desparately need wins against both.

Does anybody know what the buyout is on his contract? Tyson Foods is probably ready to pay it already.

I'm unable to verify if this is 100% accurate, but I've read $6 million for another job, a non-compete within the SEC (may not be enforceable though) and 75% of his salary if he were fired. Whatever it is, I don't imagine that it's actually crazy high when you think about what kind of leverage each side would have had in negotiations. I think Cal's contract with them is actually pretty incentive laden as well though, so it's not looking like they're going to have to pay him some of those either.

BBN should send them some chicken, like they sent us when Cal was hired.

Calipari is not going anywhere, much to chagrin of BGR scholars.
Can you imagine how BBN would lose it's mind if the Razor(less)backs waltz into Rupp on Feb. 1 and hand UK their fourth straight SEC loss? It is entirely within the realm of possibility. Be careful when you take delight in dancing on someone else's grave.

Since you brought up scholars that should be "its". I'm not dancing on anyone's grave but Cal believes 100% of his own BS these days and is totally incapable of realizing it is in any way his own fault for his awful showing the last several years.

I'm well aware of it. I make plenty of typos that I don't catch in time. There is only 5 minutes for editing, unfortunately. lol
Now, to the pressing issue. Are you gonna be continue to be an apologist for losing if they lose four straight straight or will you be one of those BBN crazies calling for Pope's head? Neither of those stances are good takes. Just enjoy the fun, like Old School. Basketball games don't mean shit in the grand scheme of things. Whether they win the next three or lose all three , it's all good if I am entertained for six hours. Just enjoy the games and quit obsessing about the HOF lib from Moon Township, PA.

Yeah, my grandpa told me about the HOF days. Hanging onto an award is more weak sauce but we heard you keep saying it last year and how's it working out for you. And I wouldn't care if he was head of the RNC I'd still be thrilled he's gone. Keep doubling and tripling down on hanging onto Cal, it's so you.

I'll eat my Tyson chicken and you watch your Osmond Family Reunion and we'll be one big happy family! Watched a Locked on Arkansas podcast. There are still plenty of Fayettevillians that believe the Hall of Famer can still get it turned around. The Tyson folks still see their investment paying off. Cal will bring in some bigtime talent to yet another hick state. Watch and see. One definite drawback to not having Cal around is that we don't get celebrities like Drake in the locker room, energizing our players. Gotta settle for Donny and Marie, I guess. lol

Drake's a$$ and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee and zero basketball wins.

Definitely some schadenfreude. And I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that Arkansas comes into Rupp and beats Kentucky-- Calipari is good at pulling some rabbits out of his hat. But I wouldn't trade the position of our programs for theirs and think that Arkansas and the Tyson family bailed Kentucky out of a horrible situation.

At least Drake could be a priest in Cal's church. Otega Oweh couldn't be a priest in Coach P's place of worship.
Here's a couple of Jet's favorite entertainers trying unsuccessfully to explain such weirdness.
GO CATS!!! BETTER BEAT VANDY!!!

To be clear: for Arkansas fans, it may only be about the losses, but to me it's how they've lost five straight. They kept Florida and an offensively-limited Ole Miss within 10, and lost to a not-very-good LSU team; they were outright embarrassed by Tennessee and Missouri in games that were never close.
