This job is now open after Coach Phillip Hawkins surprises everyone with leaving the Defenders to take over a Henry Clay football team that was only 7-43 in 5 years under Demertrius Gray. They are only 19-66 since Frederick Douglass opened in 2017.

Haskins is a Bryan Station alum who graduated in 2000. He was a captain of the 1999 KY state runner up team, where he played quarterback and defensive back for the Defenders. Haskins went on to play football at the University of Louisville and then professionally for the Lexington Horseman Arena Football team. Haskins has been serving as the Associate Head Coach & Defensive Coordinator at Bryan Station HS and was a 2024 All-American Bowl Coach.
