Only one sport at Belfry and it ain’t baseball. Wining half your games there is a big accomplishment. Sounds about like girls basketball.

Hager from PCC now at morehead
Stanley to Pikeville
Hall to Pikeville
Ryan and Duty both went to Belfry Elementary for awhile
Burke went to Mingo but was a decent player in little league
carter Jude chose not to play last year
Brayden Dotson left and played at tug I believe
Why would a coach tell a kid he couldn’t play at belfry. Sounds like you have a personal beef with Hagy. Looks like a pretty good bunch left or didn’t play. Read the post it says Belfry system not he high school

Nothing personal against him just saying I can think of several in region more deserving.(01-10-2025, 05:45 PM)Truewords Wrote:Don’t think it’s absurd. heres my question
in 20 years and all of those wins why does anyone not talk about how much more wins it could be???? has hagy ever attended a middle school game???? is he involved withthe little league program???? what about offseason development????? there is none...... he has taken the salary and done the bare minimum for almost 20 years
i dont consider that hall of fame worthy

How much he make Khalisimo? About .05 per hour? I bet it ain’t a drop in the bucket. What’s wrong with the parents over there? Can’t none of them throw BP, hit grounders and flies, catch their kids when they are practicing pitching especially at the youth age? You help any at all yourself since you know so much? Probably has a life and doesn’t need to be at a MS game. He probably plays 30 HS games. What all have you done for the program? Maybe Hagey should change his name to Jesus. Only Jesus could do all that.

He is at some middle school games and his coaches run the youth league. Involved in community which is big when you need donations. Runs youth camps during summer. No one can argue with the success it has brought him and program. What people are saying is Hagy does non of that. The parents I’ve spoke with say if baseball gets any extra work they do it.

Is Hagey a teacher or is he retired? Anyway, sounds like the administration doesn’t care. You got to have quality coaching at all levels. If the coach is sorry then they should see that. That’s enough reason to get a new coach. And yes my friend as sad as it sounds, ITS ABOUT THE MONEY. Belfry has a ton of it. Put some out to the other sport programs. You need more than covered bleachers.

Well what all would you do genius? Parents should be held accountable at some extent. Taking what I’m saying out of context though. What have you done to help Belfry’s baseball program? I’m about willing to bet NOTHING. JC takes the other sports WAAAAAAAAY more seriously than Belfry does. Does Belfry have trainers or weight training during school hours for baseball players? Do the baseball players have a nice indoor facility to practice in? Just curious.

Just curious.20 years of mediocrity and its consistently always been the parents fault LOL...... 20 years and the baseball coach has never tried to get a weight training class (spoiler it took brent perry 0 games coached to have it arranged)...... excuses excuses excuses...... too many people up there want a paycheck or to be involved and think its a part time thing if you want REAL SUCCESS its a 12 month a year commitment to the program instead players leave left and right because they offer real offseason development other places..... its been 20 years!!!!!! THERE IS ONLY ONE CONSTANT!!!!!!!!!!
but hey continue blaming everyone else..... if they brought in a good baseball coach theyd win the region within 8 years...... less than even maybe just bring in the guy from... idk maybe logan?

You still didn’t answer my question. What have you done to help the program? Have you went to the Board of Education and voiced your concerns? Have you went to any School Board meetings and said what you said on here? Have you ever coached any for Belfry?

Have you ever coached any for Belfry?you keep bringing that up like just any old person can be a coach........ because i chose to do a different career does not mean i am indebted to somebody who does a job badly....... i also don’t have desire to be a coach just to say "im a coach" like so many people around the baseball and basketball programs do...... its also areal cute that you think that anyone at the board of education cares what anyone thinks or about the athletic programs at belfry in general i know countless parents who have tried to make changes in multiple programs but nothing has been done its the only school in the region that dont run people off for losing and mediocre results
as for what ive done for the program the company i work for donates to all programs at belfry each year typically because i ask them to and id gladly help pay for any athlete go get offseason training if they asked GOD KNOWS THEIR OWN COACH WOULDNT
maybe i should go up there and see if they will let me call myself a coach like some of the nepo babies up there so i can be considered worthy to criticize ........ belfrys got to be the only school on earth with a 2nd string stat keeper....... just half court willie with a calculator
by the way I see on your post history you criticizing the girls coach at belfry….. need to be holding the parents accountable don’t we???

I typically don’t criticize anyone Khalismo. I honestly dont know what Belfty needs to do. Sounds like a whole lot to me.

I’ve heard the girls softball coach wants it but after the spectacle he put on at region I wouldn’t want that. Who would take it? The new principal is supposed to be a baseball guy. He was a hell of a player when he was younger
How much is the coaching salary and does a teaching position come along with it? How many paid assistants and what is their salary? Nobody worth having is gonna coach for free. Not to many people can deal with most the psycho non realistic parents of todays generation. The days of coaching for free and taking the abuse is pretty much over. Great players don’t always make the best coach but in some cases they do.
And Khalisimo, I didn’t say a bad word about Coach Deskins. I think he’s a good coach.
