Rowan County 64 Fleming County 63
#1
Big win for the Vikings in the Kentucky 2A tournament.

Somewhat controversial foul call with 1 second remaining allowed Rowan to win at the foul line.

Rowan will move on to face Boyd in the sectional finals of the 2A
#2
Huge free throws at the end. Good win for The Vikings
#3
Congrats to Rowan! Shakes up the 16th a little.

I guess it does for the 63rd winner but overall, the 16th runs through ASHLAND!!!

I won't argue with that. But, Boyd and Fleming have both made cases for second place supremacy. It does shake that argument up a little. I guess we'll find out when Boyd and Fleming face off shortly.

As stated the 15th still runs through Ashland, no one remembers who finishes 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.

If no one remembered who finished 2nd, 3rd, or 4th we wouldn’t have Bluegrass Rivals.

As a former player, dad, coach, teacher, and administrator some of my best memories are from teams that didn’t finish anywhere near the top. Over the years we all spend countless hours talking about those games, teams, and seasons. That’s why we have this forum.

And the state championship runs through St. X, Great Crossing and Hazard. Ashland has about 20 teams ahead of them in state rankings. So by your theory, who cares if the 16th runs through Ashland, unless they win state it don't matter, right?

Because all teams want to lose the last game of the season at RUPP!!!!!

Rowan takes ball out with 1.8 and kid has enough time to pump fake, drive, and shoot. Seems like they got a good clock on that play.

You have to get to Rupp before you can win it.

I like Hazard to win the 14th, but they will not be in contention to win the Sweet Sixteen.
