For those who don't care about fact checking misinformation posted on this site, there were several deaths that resulted from 1/6/21. There was a bipartisan Congressional committee that investigated the insurrection. It was about 100 or so page report best I remember, and outlined all the events leading up to, and then what went down on that terrible day. Ashli Babbitt was shot by Capitol police. One guy collapsed and died on the sidewalk. A cop died the following day after suffering several strokes from being pummeled by rioters on 1/6. One person, who initially was thought to have been trampled by a stampede of MAGAts, apparently died from an overdose of medication. Four cops committed suicide in the days and weeks following Trump's insurrection. None of these deaths would have occurred had Trump not called for his deplorables to descend on the Capitol with violent intent.

It was a bad day that cost several people their lives. If you vow to never forget 9/11, you should also never forget 1/6 .

The only person who died as a result of the events of 1/6 was Ashli Babbitt and she was murdered by Capitol Police. Her murderer has not been charged yet and will probably receive a pardon to prevent a proper investigation of the crime.

This statement is so wrong that I wouldn't even know where to start.  The extreme portion of Maga are the only ones who truly believe this, and they would believe anything and everything that comes out of Trump's mouth. Rolleyes  To quote Trump, "if you say it long enough, hard enough, often enough, people will start to believe it".

For Byrd, who is Black, the incident turned his life upside down. He has been in hiding for months after he received a flood of death threats and racist attacks that started when his name leaked onto right-wing websites.
But in his interview with Holt, Byrd said he has no doubt that he made the right decision in light of the circumstances.
“I know that day I saved countless lives,” Byrd said. “I know members of Congress, as well as my fellow officers and staff, were in jeopardy and in serious danger. And that’s my job.”

Asked why he pulled the trigger, Byrd said it was a “last resort.”

“I tried to wait as long as I could,” he told Holt. “I hoped and prayed no one tried to enter through those doors. But their failure to comply required me to take the appropriate action to save the lives of members of Congress and myself and my fellow officers.”

Babbitt was murdered. Repeating lies does not change the truth. The truth will come out with our without another Biden pardon. Biden's administration is the most corrupt in American history by a wide margin. Murder is just one of the crimes being covered up - and it is not even the most serious crime that the administration has tried to sweep under a rug.

If you have not watched the video of Ashli Babbit's murder, then I suggest that you do so. She was unarmed and was gunned down for trespassing without any opportunity to surrender. Her killer should be hiding.

All Dems do is lie. Every bit of this is false. The chief medical examiner ruled that the officer Sicknick died of natural causes and had no signs of any reactions to chemical irritants nor any internal or external injures, which rules out being caused by the events of 1/6. He didn't get pummeled either. Someone tried to spray bear spray on him. And the rest of the post is blatant lies as well. There is no evidence whatsoever that the protesters caused the death of anyone. And the 9/11 comparison gets you into The View Hall of Shame for idiotic statements.

All police departments have a Use of Force policy which dictates the application of deadly force, they’re for the most part universally written and applied across the board…In no use of force policy I’ve ever seen has deadly force been authorized for an unarmed person crawling through a window, at the minimum she could have been tased and placed in restraints….If the reverse where true and a white officer had shot a black woman you and others of your ilk would be screaming and doing back flips for him to be prosecuted…Kyle Ritenhouse is a prime example the people he shot where armed and attempting to inflict serious bodily harm when he shot them, yet he stood trial although being completely justified….

There is no video showing 140 injured officers. It's a fake number. There is a reason that the J6 committee refused to release all of the surveillance video and then destroyed evidence. The past 4 years has been nothing but a series of cover-ups.

Joe Hidin' Biden, the fake president, was never capable of doing his job.. The man can't even stay awake.

This thread is pretty apropos in regards to one or two of you, at least. I have no doubt a couple of you were engaged in some rather grotesque mischief at the Capitol on that day. You're lucky you weren't caught in your attempts to subvert democracy on 1/6/21 ..
