Hearing rumblings that Paintsville dropped p burg from their schedule. Always thought that was a great game. We lost it for years then recently got it back. Paintsville won at their place last season and P Burg won at home this season. Both games were very close. Hate to see them drop it when it just started back ! Always a packed house! I agree this has always been a great rivalry! Always loved these games in the 2000s.  Hate to see a new coach run from certain games already but with Johnson looking to leave I can understand.

I can’t figure out for the life of me why Raceland and Pburg never play each other. It’s not that far of a trip and years ago there would’ve been some good games between the two.

I can’t figure out for the life of me why Raceland and Pburg never play each other. It’s not that far of a trip and years ago there would’ve been some good games between the two.

I'm hearing rumors that Letcher Central will join the district with Lawrence and company, also that the Bulldogs added Martin County in the mix
I'm hoping they trade out another non district weak matchup with a powerhouse team. But you have to be able to play the RPI game to get a home game come playoff time!!

I’ve heard highlands, and bowling green thrown around too. Highlands has been dominated by SC in recent years. SC usually beats BG in scrimmages but fizzles out before they can play a real game @ kroger

I’m sure Lex cath will be on the schedule to end the season, but I haven’t heard anything on that game yet.

Looks like Raceland took a step backwards now Mercer County might be a game but PRP looks like a RPI move plus I thunk Ashland  will be a win for Raceland next year just have to wait and see

I can't disagree with what you said.  PRP was a 2 win 6A school last year. Mercer and East Carter were middle of the road 3A schools. Don't know what any of them have coming back, based on last years results,  Raceland should win all three games.

If I am not mistaken, the PRP and Mercer Co games are apart of a bowl series at both schools. Atleast that was discussed at one point. A revolving schedule that included games in ‘25 and ‘26 with Mercer, PRP, Corbin, and Simon Kenton being involved. Like I said I could be misremembering, But I do know it was discussed at one point. As it looks right now though, the schedule is a little weaker with the loss of Highlands and LCA on there.

I think the Rams can be 9-1 or maybe undefeated in regular season at least for me that’s the way I see it Mercer county usually a fair team Ashland loses a lot and who knows what Pikeville is going to do and Hazard may be a good game since it’s at Hazard those are the only games that is questionable but last year the schedule had 2 sure loses on it but not this year but the PRP game is a good pickup for Raceland to boost the RPI you guys getting like KCD picking on those weak 6A schools just kidding Blaze and RAMDAD would like that
