Why is Martin/Jc cancelled for tomorrow?

Don't think it would be weather related, supposed to get a little snow tonight/in the morning but nothing more than a dusting.

Something has to be going on with either one of the teams? Odd to cancel a big time district game like that.

Hopefully someone close to the programs can fill us in.

If JC was the one that canceled, it wouldn’t be to focus on the All-A

Yeah, if Central canceled it wouldn't be bc of the ALL A bc they aren't in it. 

Couldn't see Martin Co cancelling just to focus on it, especially first district game of the season. 

Seen a couple of comments that JC canceled so they could have more time to get prepared? If that is indeed true, isn't a good look at all.

Yeah, surely it wasn’t JC that cancelled. I can’t see them doing that for the reason of more time to prepare. Coach McKenzie is no stranger to big games. Could also be sickness. Lots of flu going around.

Bad time for a district game honestly. School not back in session could effect gate as everyone is still going and doing other things and wouldn’t know about game possibly. Just getting back from long trips to Florida for both teams, and not back into a rhythm of playing and practicing. All a this week, and 2a for JC upcoming early next week.

Just not a well thought out date to play a huge seed game for either team. Postponing had to be a mutual agreement correct?

Agreed on by both teams. Wintry mix pregame. Gonna be below freezing at game time and near 25 by end of game which could lead to black ice. Kids would be on road after game and now they won’t. Some of you can’t understand safety first. Let us not forget the young lady from Martin that tragically lost her life in an accident recently. I’m sure both school’s parents appreciate their kids being off the road tonight. However some of you can’t get past having an agenda.

Martin County was ready to play and JC called yesterday wanting to reschedule. This one was all JC on not being played tonight.
