Trump’s soon-to-be DOGE men, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, have been rallying MAGA support for shutting down the government, infuriating GOP moderates. And several centrists said they felt they should have put his in initial bipartisan plan on the floor on Wednesday before Trump could take to social media to upend support.

Musk knows who is in charge and he knows a winner when he sees one. There is a long history of successful presidents relying on good advice from successful industrialists. I once stayed at a hunting lodge in West Virginia on a business trip where Teddy Roosevelt, Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, Thomas Edison, and John Burroughs had once stayed during a hunting expedition.

Republicans want big tax breaks for Donald and Elon. That's top priority. Children's cancer is a much lower priority for Republicans. They pretend to love children, up until the time the child is born.     Also, Jet doesn't understand how the Senate works. Schumer knows that the far easier path to get that bill passed is not as a stand alone bill, where it would likely face a precarious route to passage. The way it is always done is the way it was done this time. Attach it to a spending bill at the end of the year. Schumer knows a lot more than Jetpilot how to get children's cancer bills passed.
