My uncle is a Trump-adoring bigot and racist. Trump speaks for him. Validates his long-held bigotries. He watches 8 hours of FOX a day and curses Hillary, Biden, and that "nasty, black woman that slept her way to Vice-President."  My mother was an extreme xenophobe. She was a former Bill and Hillary -loving lifelong Democrat who got radicalized via social media and became a Trump-adoring Septuagenarian.  "Could Trump do anything to lose your support," I once asked mom. "What about if he murdered someone in plain view, raped a girl in plain view, dragged two naked Mexicans to their deaths  from the back of his limousine.  She confirmed my worst suspicions with, "I'd still be with him."  Trump spoke for her. Probably the first time someone in a very powerful position spoke for her. Trump validated her hate, just as he does for you. I keep hearing that we need to make America Great Again like it was back in the 60's and 70's.  Unfortunately it wasn't too great for everyone back then, which kind of ties in with what you are saying that we really are.  Trump basically made it okay for many in the Country to come out of the shadows and show what they really believe and who they really are.  He reminds me a lot of George Wallace to be honest.

Germany's slogan back in the mid 30's was "Make Germany Great Again".   That didn't stand the test of time. 

I don't see the US following in the Nazi footsteps, but it sure does appear that we are headed toward an Oligarchy.

I was watching a show on Netflix about Churchill and that was a phrase used from the segment of the time he spent in Germany during the 30's,   Maybe they were paraphrasing it, don't really know.  There is also a radio show on BBC called, Nazi's: The Road to Power and the last episode is called "Make Germany Great Again".

So I guess you are saying that America is Great right now by referencing your statement in bold above.  Most middle income workers could comfortably live, especially if they cut back on their cell phone bills, coffee purchases, more home than they need, etc.

I keep hearing that we need to make America Great Again like it was back in the 60's and 70's.  Unfortunately it wasn't too great for everyone back then, which kind of ties in with what you are saying that we really are.  Trump basically made it okay for many in the Country to come out of the shadows and show what they really believe and who they really are.  He reminds me a lot of George Wallace to be honest.

Germany's slogan back in the mid 30's was "Make Germany Great Again".   That didn't stand the test of time. 

I don't see the US following in the Nazi footsteps, but it sure does appear that we are headed toward an Oligarchy.

I was watching a show on Netflix about Churchill and that was a phrase used from the segment of the time he spent in Germany during the 30's,   Maybe they were paraphrasing it, don't really know.  There is also a radio show on BBC called, Nazi's: The Road to Power and the last episode is called "Make Germany Great Again".

So I guess you are saying that America is Great right now by referencing your statement in bold above.  Most middle income workers could comfortably live, especially if they cut back on their cell phone bills, coffee purchases, more home than they need, etc.

Btw, thank you for the outpouring of support shown with all of the cards and letters. I hear on the street that Kong's petition drive reached triple digits on Old School's behalf. Kong, I would take a bullet for you. My uncle is a Trump-adoring bigot and racist. Trump speaks for him. Validates his long-held bigotries. He watches 8 hours of FOX a day and curses Hillary, Biden, and that "nasty, black woman that slept her way to Vice-President."  My mother was an extreme xenophobe. She was a former Bill and Hillary -loving lifelong Democrat who got radicalized via social media and became a Trump-adoring Septuagenarian.  "Could Trump do anything to lose your support," I once asked mom. "What about if he murdered someone in plain view, raped a girl in plain view, dragged two naked Mexicans to their deaths  from the back of his limousine.  She confirmed my worst suspicions with, "I'd still be with him."  Trump spoke for her. Probably the first time someone in a very powerful position spoke for her. Trump validated her hate, just as he does for you. And you adore him for it.  You don't care if Mexico pays for the wall or if the swamp is drained or if Elon Musk gets billions in tax breaks. All you want is to be validated. And you are far from alone.
