BL turns on cruise control in this one. Boyd and spriggs could have a big night though, don’t think it’ll be enough to help them pull away. BL 86 FC 71

According how the younger guys play for FC, this one could be a lot closer than what most think.

Getting great guard play from both teams, but the young guys from both teams as well could make a difference in this game. Don't expect a whole lot of defense in this one, but teams love to run & gun.

Betsy Layne will press Floyd central and with Floyd only having a few players quick enough to break the press, making it difficult on them. Second, Betsy Layne going to have parsons and hall hitting it from three point range. While, pente, mitchell, and if Allen there each of these players will be an inside threat. If Floyd central spriggs can rally everyone around him he can get a win by getting the ball to Wesley buck and Boyd from three pint range. Second have Howard start over Meade, Howard bigger may not have as much experience but he able to catch higher passes and rebound. So for me it Betsy Layne over Floyd central. Floyd central got a deeper bench but not enough to overcome the bobcats.

Fc will have size of BL all but Lance but Howard is more long and taller than him and also Curry is too which he is stronger than Lance. I dont see Pente, allen, or Mitchell being an inside threat with howard down there. Spriggs can break the press by himself which you said guys who can handle to ball on a press but really you have to move the ball around to break a press

It will be close until the 4th quarter but I just dont think FC can keep up with Betsy Laynes offense like Lawrence did. 88-73 BL

I think FC will struggle with Parsons and Pente. They are both elite 15th region guards and I don't think FC has the guards to play with them. The only chance that I think FC has in this game is to slow it down, force BL to play in the half court, and not let BL explode on big runs with fast break points, especially fast break 3's. If it turns in to a shootout then it's very much in BL's favor. FC has to be very smart and safe with the ball, if they turn it over a lot then they're in trouble. I think Buck and Allen will be a fun matchup to watch, if Allen is healthy and if they match up with each other. They're both exceptional athletes. Two good basketball teams but I think BL wins this one by 10+.

I think if BL can keep Buck and Spriggs under control they can pull this one out. Everyone else seems to just role play off them. Boyd can shoot but has to rely on others to get him open.

Floyd central coach must really want to make sure he doesn’t have a job much longer/ I understand wanting experience but when Howard is your only big man you need to start him forget the feelings.
