Should beat Toledo(maybe), Eastern Michigan, and Tenn Tech.

Schedule doesn't look very favorable for us to have a winning season at all right now.

It's too early to talk about this after the way the Louisville game went, but might as well rip the band-aid off.

Certain Wins:
Toledo
Eastern Michigan
Tennessee Tech

Likely Win:
@Vanderbilt (lets see how the Pavia lawsuit plays out, but even if he's back, it's not like they're a lock)

Likely Losses:
vs. Ole Miss (usually skew overrated and we play them well, but the Lane-Train won't be stopped twice)
@South Carolina (I just don't like our chances here, but this one has had a way of surprising us)

Would be a Big Upset:
vs. Tennessee (if you think we have a shot, just look at the weeks leading to this game)

Would be a HUGE Upset:
@Georgia
vs. Texas

At this point, we're 4-5; maybe we're 5-4 if there's an upset of Ole Miss or South Carolina, but we're still reeling against a very tough early schedule where it's at South Carolina, at Georgia, BYE, vs. Texas, and vs. Tennessee in a five week stretch. Just getting through that part of the season in-tact will be huge, especially given that we're already coming off of a disappointing season.

Three games will determine whether this a 5 to 8 win season-- @Auburn, vs. Florida, and @Louisville. The trip to the Plains and then hosting the Gators come in back-to-back weeks. I really don't like our chances against Florida, as you'd have selfishly rather seen them fire Napier and go through another reboot than ending the year on a bit of a run and having continuity, especially when they'll be coming off a de-facto home bowl game against Tulane.

If this ends up being a four or five win season that's a continuation of what we saw late this season, then Stoops' seat may be getting more than warm. I'm not talking about close losses to Georgia or Tennessee, but if there are embarrassments like the South Carolina and Louisville games, then things will get interesting.

Fair or unfair, like it or not, if we're going to play this many SEC teams and get this kind of schedule (as Kentucky football tends to do and Kentucky basketball doesn't) then any commitment to play Louisville cannot end soon enough. Once that happens, I'd expect the game to be replaced with a more winnable game against someone like Purdue, Wake Forest, Virginia, or Northwestern.

Don't think it's anything about Kentucky being scared to play Louisville, it's just the reality of playing an SEC vs. ACC schedule. If Louisville fans disagree, we could trade schedules and see how each of the program's records end up.
