If Hazard builds on last year and keeps improving they could easily be Top 5 in Class A.

Hazard needs to simplify things the way they did toward the end of the season for whoever comes in at QB. They were a lot better than the score showed against Raceland in the playoffs and that was why. I agree with JO and they could be a team that could play spoiler next year.

Hazard will still be a decently young team next seasons. They will pick up some more solid freshmen coming in. Hoping to get a few kids back out that didn’t play this season. Definitely hurt just before the season started losing two starters on the defense to focus on baseball in Gaige Logan and Talon Goins.

I expect them to make a decent run in Class A. If they find an identity early on, they could be dangerous. I don’t think this team beats Pikeville or Raceland though.

Yes, i believe they have a good freshman class coming in which should help hopefully next year but definitely years to come.

Wasn’t pelfrey, Blankenship, white all skills kids and all seniors? Lose some good linemen and defensive players the best I know. Still going to be young but have a solid future.

No. Gavin Johnson, Connor Holbrooke, Jayvion Fullwood all return. Yes Javon White in the only senior at WR. Memphis is the running back but I don’t put that under skill guys even though he could have played at WR/TE.

Hazard will be replacing a QB, HB, 1WR. On offense.

Defense 1 DL(Kenyon) 2 LBs Memphis, Jagger, (Simpson not a starter), 1 DB White.

Hazard though played a lot of freshmen in the secondary last season and actually improved from the beginning of the season.

They had white as WR, Blankenship at RB, Pelfrey at QB, Fields at OT. According to stats. Then Higgins, Simpson, Jagger Fields, and Blankenship and white double duty at LB and DB. Also had another kid on the roster that was a senior. A hurt kid seems like. Didn’t see him get a lot of time I don’t think but the rest played valuable downs.

Field at OT was after the injury to Gannon Mullins. Field played a huge role doing what this team asked of him. He played on the DL and rotated a lot with the kids there. Simpson played a lot defensively when they rested Blankenship for the offensive side of the ball.

How come? According to things I’ve read and hear around town they want to get this game back in the mix. I personally think it’s an ass whipping waiting for the dores if they do but I’ve witnessed it personally from some of Perry’s coaching staff saying they want this game back. Is it all just smoking mirrors??

So many want this game and it should be played. I think most years it would be a competitive game and the gate money alone would be worth it for both schools (they should split it). Sadly though it probably won't happen anytime soon.
