Final a great game! Texas comes up just short of the championship in its first season in the SEC.

That was a heck of a game!
Texas dominated the 1st half with two hundred and some yards. But only had 6pts to show for it, two field goals. Georgia had only like 50 or 60 some total yards in the first half. Score at halftime Texas 6 and Georgia 3. Carson Beck, Georgia starting qb got injured on the final play of the first half. Trying to fire the ball into the end zone on a hail mary. Same thing happened to him in the Georgia Tech game.
On the first drive of the 2nd half the Georgia backup qb marched the offense down the field, for a TD.
In OT Texas settles for a field goal. Georgia is driving and the backup qb takes a shot and his helmet flies off. This was at around the 4yrd line. That was a rough hit, he gets back up. He had to go out for one play with his helmet flying off. Carson Beck, who had his throwing elbow taped with ice for most of the 2nd half, comes in for one play. He hands the ball off for a TD, Georgia wins!
Great game, both teams gave it their all. Hat's off to Georgia for the win, they had some significant injuries this game. Hat's off to Beck coming in for the last play, while not really able to move his throwing arm. And much respect to Georgia's back up qb. His first game receiving meaningful minutes, when the game was still on the line. Ontop of that it was the SEC title game. The entire Georgia team came thru in this one, total team effort.

One of the best collegiate games I've ever seen!
And it was so telling how Beck didn't hesitate to get back in that game, when his arm was just hanging from his body. What dedication!!
