Kentucky @ Clemson 12/3
#1
Apart of the SEC/ACC Challenge.

Get those after work naps in tomorrow as tip-off is set for around 9:30, but we know those are hardly ever on time.

First true road game of the season for Kentucky, against a tough Clemson team who just made the elite 8 last season, in a tough intimate place to play at LittleJohn.

This should make for a very interesting game, what's everyone's thoughts & predictions?

I feel that this one is a bigger test than Duke up to this point because it is a true road game. Be interesting to see how they handle the flip of not having the crowd behind them. Last couple games they have been sluggish but I feel that is due to the competition. I hope they get back on track for this one or we could come out with an L. I do feel Pope can get their minds on track though. And it doesn't get any easier as they play Gonzaga on the road.

Everything about South Carolina sucks(except for Charleston), including Clemson. Suckers lose!!!

This begins a big five game stretch for the Cats with Clemson, Gonzaga, Colgate, Louisville and Ohio St. Colgate is normally a good mid major, but seems to be down this year, so a little breather in the middle. But the other four games are all losable. If we can go at least 4-1 in this stretch, I think that would be outstanding. We are going to take some losses in conference, the SEC looks like it might be the deepest it’s ever been, so we don’t need too many losses before conference play begins.

Auburn, Tenn, and UK are #2,3, and 4 in the AP this week. Bama is #10.  Incredible.

The Cat's are getting into the beef of the schedule baby!  Coach Pope will have us fired up and ready to play with a passion in this one  Wink

Agreed about the SEC being tough this year.  This stretch of games beginning tonight,  should help us prepare for our brutal SEC schedule.

I love these early season games between other major conferences vs their top teams.

SEC is 101-16 so far this season. Mind blowing. Eight of the top 22 in the AP poll. Only two of 16 teams (Arkansas at 5-2 and South Carolina at 4-3) with more than one loss. Basically every conference game will be an all-out war.

Oops, Texas A & M and Alabama also have two losses. But still…..

Yes, big stretch for the Cats coming up. We are all pumped and excited for basketball with Pope and the fire he has brought. These next few games will give a clear look to what this team can really be. I am confident this is a Final 4, champioship type team and unless they lay an egg over the next couple weeks don't see myself changing that feeling. Tonight starts it off.

And yes, the SEC is brutal like in football. Gonna be tough every night they hit the floor this season. Will be battle tested come tournament time.

A few hours before game time  Smile  About right now I'd say the Cat's have got their ear buds in,  listening to their favorite jam,  and getting pumped for the game baby!!!

Whooooooooooo!!!  Cool

The Wildcats vs The Tigers

At least Clemson has got a understandable mascot,  a Tiger.  Unlike some of the other ACC teams.  Blue devils,  demon deacons,  tar heels,  I  mean,  what the heck!! What were those people thinking back in the day,  when they come up with some of this stuff lol
In all honesty,  I don't want to know!

I believe the Cat's get the W tonight!

This game doesn't begin until 9:30. I'll never make it!!!
I'll be lucky to start watching the UT game at 7:30!

I can hear Granny Bear snoring from here. Wake up , you sexy Septuagenarian.

Kinda a good thing GB is snoozin' . That was one ugly half of basketball by our putty cats. Soft as Cottonelle.

Someone in blue needs to grow a pair of testicles and knock that tool with the crazy hair out of the game. I mean, knock his everlovin' lights out.

Not a good showing 1st half but they have come out 2nd half with a surge. Hope they keep it up.

Bad. Tonight, KY was more like we expected coming into the season. Did any other SEC teams lose besides our Big Blue softies?

And here we go... nuttiest fans in all of sport. Just saw two topics already posted on a UK message board:

1) Coaching Malpractice by Pope

2) Is the honeymoon over?
