Give me cooper 54-28

The owner of the company I worked for played for Bowling Green. So I will pull for Bowling Green. Got to see them against Frederick Douglass and I think they will be fired up for this one. Cooper on the other hand no doubt broke the scoreboard against Highlands and may have peaked. Hard to put those kinds of points on the board two games in a row. If they do, they will be hard to stop. One thing for sure, no lead is safe when you can put 60ish up in a giffy. Good luck to both teams. All season we had either Bowling Green or Cooper at number one and this coming weekend they get to settle in on the field.

I’d like to see Cooper win the rematch from last year, and they should.

Cooper 28
BG.      21
#7
I’ll take Cooper.
#8
Give me BG. If you didn’t see Cooper/ Highlands games don’t give Cooper credit for a lot of that. I have never seen a team melt down like that in a second have, they flat out gave cooper a ton of unearned points. I lost count of bad snaps multiple leading to Cooper scores and stopped Highlands scores. I think they had 8 TO’s in second half and tumbling three kickoffs causing drives to start inside the 10.  Give cooper credit for taking advantage of gifts.
Cooper did  not Have that great of  run D, good pass D. Their offense is mainly just throwing home run passes which highlands D backs did poorly defending, I think BG will defend better. Stop big plays and Alexander and BG will win. Highlands had chance to go 28-7 in first half and self inflicted plays prevented And melt downs of self inflicted plays second half does  not allow you to beat anyone. BG plays clean game and they can win.

This game could be a shoot out with a point total of around 100. Which means it will likely be a lower scoring game. Give me copper by two scores.

Cooper will find the weak spot of your team whether it’s on O, D, or ST and expose it. A lot of it seems like just pure bad luck, but I’ve seen them play 3 years in a row(albeit one year we smoked them) and they know where to hit and when at all times.

Highlands would have been a favorite next season in 5A with cooper losing a lot of talent. Unfortunate they will be playing in 4A!

Cooper is very well coached, but I ask you to ponder who it is you're talking about they are playing against. Bowling Green is of that same cloth. They are capable of finding all weak spots as well.

Another thing, it would be stunning to see Bowling Green have a collapse like Highlands or Scott County did against Cooper. The moment is not too big for them. They've been here plenty. In the last 14 seasons, they have been to the finals eight times, including three of the last four. Overall they are 7-1 in those matchups with their lone loss to the best Frederick Douglass team ever.

That being said, Cooper still may win the game, as they have a fantastic team. Bowling Green is, however, the defending 5A champs who returned almost everyone from last years team. The same team that beat this Cooper bunch by two touchdowns and could've been worse in the state game last season.

We will see.

Certainly BG will be ready more so than highlands, and SC were. All 4 teams play in big games and have major accomplishments, I think it’s a testament to how good this cooper squad is to handle the best 5A teams like they have. BG is a different animal though!

I think BG could very well win this game but cooper seems to just be unstoppable this year. They brought back their stars and will play with a chip on their shoulder that will put them over the top in my opinion.

COOPER BY 2 TD If they play like
they’re capable of. You make a mistake more than likely you’ll pay for it. Just ask Highlands. And Cooper stud running back was out with broken hand

Didn't Cooper turn the ball over inside their 10 yard line leading to the first score of the game BG 7-0 early in the game?
I think it was 4 turnovers for BG and 3 for Cooper

Bowling Green. I really haven't followed Cooper enough to make an educated prediction, but that never stopped me before!

It's hard for me to pick against a South Central Kentucky team, but I think Cooper takes home the title this year. Admittingly, I've not seen Cooper play, but their schedule looks rather tough to go undefeated on.

Cooper actually muffed two punts in the game. Neither were inside the 10. Bowling Green did however score off both. Bowling Green had more turnovers than Cooper, but their defense was able to get off the field for them where as Cooper could not. BG also threw two picks in goal to go situations. It was 28-7 mid way through the fourth and Cooper couldnt pass the ball at all.

None of that matters for Friday, and honestly, people taking Cooper to win isn't what my post was about. I think that it will be a great game which is why I was responding to a guy who predicted Cooper to just about running clock the Purples. It surprises me that so many think poor little BG will limp in here and roll over and get completely out athleted.

Duece Bailey is the one of the best players in the state. However Austin Alexander is a grown man, will be a great game. However it may be time for cooper to earn what is theirs

Give me Cooper on a revenge tour. Austin Alexander will be too much to handle IMO. Deuce Bailey is great, but Coopers defense is stout.
#20
Cooper leads Bowling Green 12-10 with 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Bowling Green hits their 2nd FG of the game and led Cooper now 13-12 with 3:35 to play in the first half.

Any update of score
#22
13-12 Bowling Green at the half.
#23
Told you this Cooper team is a little over rated, that’s why I picked BG. They are good not great.
#24
Bowling Green received the ball to start the 2nd half and marched it down the field and scored on a 14-yard run from Deuce Baliey to put the Purples up now 20-12.

Bowling Green leads Cooper 27-12 after 3 quarters.

Bowling Green 34 Cooper 20 with 7:20 to play.

37-30 Bowling Green with 3:34 to play.
