Paducah played an incredibly weak scheldue and also has gotten a weak playoff schedule so that is concerning…but they have a few athletes Corbin can’t compensate with.
Corbin will be in it till the end

Paducah 47
Corbin 40

Everyone seems to be on the big points train-so

Tilghman 42
Corbin 24

But it wouldn't surprise me to be much lower all the way around as both have the ability to slow the opposing offenses.

Kade Elam is special and a winner. I have a hard time not picking him to lead his team to victory.

I have watched alot of Paducah Tilghman's games. This one will light up the score board if not, it will be fun to watch either way.

PT won't be stopped this year now that Boyle has fallen. PT by 10+
#12
PT seems to have one helluva passing offense and a defense that knows how to get the ball back. I was looking at it said that before Friday they had recovered 19 fumbles and 15 interceptions. They clearly have a good defense when it comes to awareness. The 19 fumbles tells me that they either hit hard or play for the strip. Corbin will have to hold onto the ball. I have confidence in Elam not making bad throws but they have some great athletes, especially the 4 star Carter kid. How are they against the run?

Tilghman’s schedule does concern me as they don’t play a murderers row but they have done what great teams are supposed to do and that is beat teams to death. Mayfield is always a good win and they beat them by 31.

Corbin’s D looked great and I can’t help but think Meadors finally getting eligible helped with the secondary. I don’t expect to hold PT to a touchdown or two but so long as Corbin can continue to score, I think the D is good enough for them to advance. I just don’t want them thinking that since Boyle is gone, that they’re the front runner. Franklin and PT are still ranked ahead of the Hounds and after Friday, you can say CovCath deserves to be as well.

Will Meadors play offense Friday? I noticed he only played ST and at Corner. I think he can instantly be the top receiver. His speed will be needed against Tilghman. I also like Brown in as an H back. His blocking was unbelievable against Ashland.

Being at Tilghman, I'll take them by a TD, but I'm pulling for Corbin.
I used to have relatives in Middlesboro for years, & had a former coach who was at Lynn Camp for years as an assistant coach. Also had some college friends from Corbin.

Should definitely be a good one.  Corbin has a pretty long road trip,  hope that has no effect on their performance.

It wouldn't surprise me to see either team win.

Corbin has perhaps the most passionate fan base in KY football.  Shoot,  you'd have to look long and hard to find a more passionate fan base, throughout the country.

So I'm going to let you all in on a little secret here.  Ol Kong has been quietly pulling for Corbin. Well,  except for one game earlier in the year  Smile Think many of you know what game I'm talking about.  After that I was right back on the Corbin bandwagon!

I know what this would mean for Corbin and their fanbase,  if they go all the way.  I'm really pulling for it to happen  Wink

Best of luck to both teams!

Kong is a good dude. Can't just one individual by the demented actions of the masses. You've taught me a lesson.  Smile

I do think PT is a really good football team. All 4 teams left are, I just wish they would have played somebody really good during the season to get a good gauge. They played good teams but not the best of the best

The only opponent I’m seeing that impressed me was Mayfield, I’d like to hear from some Mayfield fans is PT the real deal or is Mayfield having a down year this year….

I would not call Mayfield’s year a DOWN year, but rebuilding year for sure. Mayfield plays ALOT of juniors, sophomores and even a couple freshman see playing time. But they definitely were not near as good as last years team. TILGHMAN has athletes ALL over the field, period, but they also have a history of playing undisciplined football a lot of times. Thay are very good

Corbin - 28
Tilghman - 42

I think Tilghman will get tested in this game. But I think they have the talent to overcome Corbin.
#23
I'm pulling for Corbin to win it all. IMO this is the championship game. Kid Elam go and get what you deserve a championship. He is a true athlete. I've been impressed with him every since I saw him play in the championship against Boyle. Go get it Red Hounds

While not a true game, they did outperform O-Cath in a scrimmage.

I have to agree that it isn’t a “down” year, but definitely not a typical Mayfield year. Mayfield usually always has some underclassmen playing, but Mayfield was for sure rebuilding this year after losing as much talent as they did from graduation.

Tilghman has the talent to compete with anyone in KY, and earlier in the year I said I believed they could hang with/beat Boyle. I still stand by that.

Corbin will most likely be more disciplined of a bunch, but I don’t think that saves the day for them. PT is a machine this year imo. I have high respect for both programs and will be excited for whoever wins.

With that said, my gut tells me this
PT: 42
Corbin: 17

You need to get your gut checked by a gut doctor.

PT’s QB looks like a beast. Built more like a middle linebacker than a QB. We know PT can pass but if they can run they will win.
#29
Another one here pulling for Corbin but I'm going Paducah Tilghman.
#30
This look like it will be a great game. It just too bad it is on the other side of the state. I have to go with the Mountain team Corbin in this game.
