Kentucky @ Texas 11/23.
#1
Kentucky visits Texas this Saturday.

Primetime game as kickoff is set for 3:30 on ABC.

Texas opens up as huge -20.5 favorites while the O/U is set at 47 for all you bettors.

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

Liable to get ugly, but every time we've said that this season Kentucky has played a ranked opponent, might not have been the best, but most definitely most competitive football they've played this season. Should've beaten Georgia, defeated Ole Miss, and hung tough with Tennessee. Texas seems to be a different animal tho, not worried about atmosphere, Kentucky is used to playing in similar atmospheres in the conference. Would love to see Kentucky be play up to the competition like they have in the previously mentioned matchups, possibly play spoiler to a top CFP contender, just don't think it will happen.

Definitely pulling for a upset in this one lol!

Your score prediction seems right though.

I don't think Texas will worry about scoring any more than that.  Especially with them having a shot at the SEC championship game and the Playoffs.  I look for Texas to take care of business and get their starters outta there.  Kinda like a high school game when one team really out matches their opponent.

For whatever reason these are the games UK decides to step up in. With the efforts they have put out in these games they probably would have another win or two on the season. Hopefully this basically win or go home, they come out with intensity to pull off the upset.

Felt good about this one coming into the season... UK coming off a bye and Murray State, Texas coming off Florida & Arkansas and possibly looking ahead to Texas A&M.

Kentucky is also exactly the kind of team that Texas seems to find a way to lose to.

Any hope of an upset is long gone though. Even if the defense plays lights out, we can't score enough to keep it close.

Imagine that Boley sees time in mop-up duty. If we keep them in the 30's and get a late score to push us into the teens, I'll call it a win.
