The Cat's get the W today baby!
Nice to get a win especially with the brutal schedule we play. It was vs a out of conference opponent who is now 1-10 on the year.
I listened to part of the 2nd quarter on my way deer hunting. Then caught the post game show on my way back. So I honestly don't know what took place in this game or how we really did or looked.
A big one with Texas coming up.
Then we got the KY College state championship game vs U of L after that! At least that's what I always call this game! Lol

Well, a win is a win is a win I guess. At least my twin sons got to witness their first home win of the season!
I didn't go, I made a vow that as long as Stoops is HC I'll never go back to a game, I kept that same vow whenever Cal took over the Basketball program, that didn't change the 15th years he was there.
But other than that, may have been a lesser opponent but at least they got off the schnide.
I'm cautious to make any sort of prediction for the Texas game, think we're all expecting a monumental ass whippin, but we've all said the same thing whenever they had Georgia on the ropes and lost by 1, and also when they beat Ole Miss, and played Tennessee tough as well. But Texas is a different animal. Hope they show up to compete at least.

Agreed. I try to keep a optimistic outlook on most things lol! I'm hoping we can play Texas tough. Upsets are happening every week. Hoping we have another one in us.
With that being said, I know this is crazy to think about, we still have a shot at getting enough wins for a bowl game. We've just made that road tougher on ourselves throughout the year.
Even if we lose to Texas, if we can squeeze out a win vs UofL that puts us at 5 wins. There is rare occasions where a five win team makes a bowl. I think it was last year or the one before that, Minnesota made a bowl with 5 wins. I honestly don't know how that works. The way UK fans travel, if we can get to five wins, maybe we give ourselves the slightest of chances!
