Pikeville QB 16-20 171 2 TDs and a rushing TD in Semifinals.
Pikeville RB 161 yards and a TD
Pikeville D gave up 63 total yards.
Pikeville is 15-0 and averaging 34.7 on O giving up 6.6 on D.
Don't know how good OC is but I'll take Pikeville 28-14.

What a year for these Panthers! Took down O Cath for the championship trophy. Pikeville was the better team all-round and it showed with a 22-0 shut out! Looking forward to the impact these players will make in the varsity. Congrats to the players, Coach Branham and staff, and all PMS fans! The only negative, imo was the poor excuse for the announcers in this game. Totally bias against the Panther team and fans. Congrats once again Panthers! Undefeated and state champs!!

Did Owensboro Cath get close to scoring any?
I’m looking to see/know if Hazard was the toughest opponent.

Hazard might have been the toughest opponent and Pikeville beat them 58-6 in 2 games I think so that tells you how good this team is. Johnson probably toughest though Pikeville was up by about 20 and JC came all the way back before Pikeville put the game away and won by 2 TDs. My question is Pikeville the best team in the state in all classes?

I remember when they won it all that year, it was said that ''there will not be another team to come through Pikeville as good as this one". Imo, this just may be the one. Time will tell.

Owensboro got into Pikeville's redzone twice. Once on a long drive and the other on a fumble by Pikeville after a punt. But Owensboro couldn't punch it in and had some penalties I think that backed them up. It was 0-0 at halftime and then Pikeville just started pounding the rock to 32, 22, and 5 a couple times off the edge to get the offense going and then that opened up some nice passes and Pikeville settled in. Owensboro has some really nice looking kids, the QB #10 and then the TE/FB #44 are real players. But Pikeville's ability to to control the LOS on both sides and then the physicality in which they play with on both sides was the difference.
This 8th grade is group and have all the pieces from the big guys on both sides to every skill position you could want. Very rarely do you see a team so complete with QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRS, 5 Lineman, and all the defensive positions besides one that is a Corner who a 7th grader starts there for them.
Very impressive and they have a real shot to be special for the HS if they all continue to play their HS careers.
